They're well located. Although you have to walk a bit to get to the historic center, you don't have to worry about traffic or people. On the contrary, the walk along St. Jean Street is very pleasant; we even went for a run. Our room was large, as was the bathroom; it was the first floor on the second floor. Good Wi-Fi. No closets, just drawers and a visible coat rack. They're very secure and have a good entry system. Parking is available on the premises. A good price for the Quebec area, highly recommended.

Upon arrival, you must have read the explanatory email given 24 hours before. On the other hand, in case of a problem on the ground floor next to the keys, there is a call terminal to get someone. We used it and the response was immediate. Once the key in hand, you can have access to your room. The rooms are well equipped, not very large but clean and comfortable. Everything is provided. It is possible to make a small light hot meal thanks to a conventional oven or a microwave. The dishwasher is there. Good to see because there is little cutlery in the room. This allows you not to sleep next to a sink that does not exist. You have to make your room yourself if you stay less than a week, otherwise someone will come to clean beyond that. It is an excellent value for money given the price offered. Just down the road is the 807 bus station, which takes you directly to the Old Town in four stops. You can buy an Opus card at pharmacies or convenience stores. It's not expensive at all for a five-day pass.

Hotel Le Bloc was a pleasant surprise. Very nice room, comfortable and tastefully furnished. In the room there was a microwave, grill, coffee machine, fridge and dishwasher: what more could you want?! The room was in a beautiful building in a quiet area about 15 minutes walk from the center of beautiful Quebec City. Free parking convenient in front or behind the building. Self check in was convenient, fast and very simple. The instructions we received by email were clear and exhaustive. My husband and I stayed there for two nights and had a great time. Absolutely recommended!

Ideally located, large, comfortable room. However, no easily accessible services. During a 4-day stay, the trash was never emptied and the towels were never changed. No cleaning was done during this stay. Theoretically, you can request a change of towels or an ironing board, but there is no reception or phone number to make these requests! Too bad.

This hotel from the outside is indeed a not very pretty block but once inside, they knew how to combine a trendy and very beautiful decor while retaining the industrial charm: staircase, ceiling of the rooms. The rooms are very spacious and well thought out, we had one with a kitchenette, too bad there is only one stool while you can eat comfortably for two. The parking is very convenient and we are 2 steps from Cartier Street where you can find all the amenities. The bedding is however too soft.
