Hotels in West Street/Kaiyuan Temple, Quanzhou

As it was my first time in Quanzhou, I chose this hotel based on a Ctrip recommendation. While I didn't get to experience all of its services and amenities, I had a positive overall impression. They provided complimentary welcome fruits, pastries, and even a digestive and sleep-friendly late-night snack package. The staff offered excellent service, the hotel was clean, and the facilities were comprehensive. Its location in a bustling area made shopping and dining incredibly convenient. My only suggestions for improvement would be the lack of a proper desk in the room and the power outlets, which were a bit fiddly to plug into (they seemed to be safety outlets). Otherwise, everything else was great. Thank you!

Very friendly attitude of staff! Welcomed us with a bag of Fujian snacks. Many services available at the hotel. Amenities were really a step forward, included hair clip and skincare products (cleanser, make up remover, toner) which was really great! Breakfast could have had a couple more western options.

This is our first vist to Quanzhou. We picked this somewhat dated looking hotel (from the outside), we were positively overwhelmed in every respect (hardware, software, location, service...) The hotel is very stylish (mid-Century modern) and well thought out on residence experience. The interiror designer (谢柯) is highly respected. Our concierge - Andy looked after us in every step of the way; he made an effort to reach us before arrival, gave us great recommendations on food, activity planning, & gifts preparation. The dinning room on top had great service, view, food and ambiance. The staff (matradee and 小西）accommodated us even though we arrived near their closing time. I think we also met the GM who treated us like friends. Quanzhou is an ancient city full of history busyness and things-to-do like most of cities in China, but this beautiful boutique hotel is truly full of pleasant surprise and an inviting escape in the big country.

Xiamenair is near a food street which opens late into the night. It takes about 20-30 minutes walk to the Old Town attractions. Better to get a taxi or didi e-hailing. The staff was very helpful. Fruits and light snacks are provided in the evening/night at the lift lobby on every floor. The sleep was excellent. It wasn’t noisy at all in my room facing the street. Hot water shower and the air conditioning work very well. I used CNY500 as cash deposit. But the service staff was kind to return me the deposit without having to wait too long.

同門，我是素問大帝。這裏比葯王谷還要香哇！！！ 早飯很好吃但是如果像我一樣早上睡覺睡到孫大師姐把我拎起來的程度，小菜就容易温温了，不過主菜還是熱乎的。😾💞 🦊七月末跟神相妹來參加線下活動，太趕了幾乎是説走就走。挑了幾家跟神相妹商量發現還是最喜歡一眼相中的這裏，第六感感覺很舒服很喜歡。 民宿門口有門禁很安心，進去以後會有管家姐姐加好友，有什麼事可以直接聯繫姐姐幫忙。 民宿裏面冷香冷香的……超舒服，姐姐還會幫忙拿行李，咪的天。🙀💕 入住以後會送一盤梅子和小番茄，好吃！提前跟姐姐説了大概什麼時候到，姐姐提前幫忙打好了空調……太幸福了。 🦊住得太放鬆了完全忘記拍照了……一住一個不吱聲！非常亮堂而且乾淨，浴室乾濕分離，洗手池枱麪很寬敞也沒有一點水漬，是那種很清爽的乾淨sis懂我。來自潔癖的肯定，大大滴放心！以為會有點擁擠結果完全沒有……很通透空間一點兒都不壓抑。 一次性用品全然是夠用的！每天都會補充新的，真的用完了也可以找姐姐拿。這幾天晚上是在房間裏點飯吃的，所以餐巾紙用量很大，下樓找打掃姨姨要，姨姨很大方給了一沓！☝️️ 臨走的時候陽傘壞掉了外面還在下雨，姐姐看到拿了把傘給我，我説以後不一定再來還不了傘，姐姐説沒關係沒有傘會淋感冒的……感動🥺🥺🥺lovelove……💗💗💗 泉州飯都不是很吃得來，，，但是為了民宿會願意二刷的程度。。。。九月份了還在懷念，，，😿🔥💕💕💕

The hotel is luxuriously decorated and the environment is hygienic. The temperature difference in Quanzhou in the past few days (spring) is large, the highest temperature at noon is 20 degrees, and the night is about 10 °C, but the central air conditioner of this hotel does not provide heating, and it can be cooled! so strange! ! Such a cold night, such a high-end hotel can not turn on the heating! Even the air conditioner of the mid- and low-end small hotel can heat it. The air conditioner of this hotel can be cooled! I gave feedback, the hotel's answer is that the central air conditioner is controlled by the engineering department, and whether to turn on the heating can be determined by the engineering department. If I feel cold, they can provide me with a heating tablet. It is a white oil stat, similar to the last picture. Anyway, I am not used to it. Can not control the temperature, there are three grades of small, medium and large to adjust the heating. Turn on the heating tablet to wake up, do not turn on the heating tablet to wake up. Every night, you have to get up, turn on, turn off, turn on, turn off, turn off, repeatedly adjust the heating tablet... Living in such a luxurious hotel, you can't control the room temperature. I lived for a few days, lived to doubt myself...

I usually choose newer hotels, but this one exceeded my expectations! During our four-day, three-night trip to Quanzhou, the hotel was conveniently located near West Street and Kaiyuan Temple, just a few minutes' walk from scenic spots. The bakery downstairs had delicious coffee, and the shopping plaza across the street was very convenient. My room faced the street, so despite being in the bustling city, the room was quiet, perfect for those who love to sleep in. The service was excellent. The front desk answered the phone quickly and cordially, and anything I needed was promptly delivered. In the hot weather, the mini-fridge was always fully stocked with cola and water, and the spare bottled water was always fully refilled. Transportation was convenient, taxis were easily available, and the scooters were always passing by. There were many delicious local restaurants nearby, and I found something surprising every day during my three-day stay. From the morning market, dinner, late-night snacks, cut fruit, and braised food, there was always something new to discover, which saved me the trouble of searching for delicious food. I highly recommend it.

Very satisfied, ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ First of all, the housekeeper Xiao Wu called and added WeChat to tell me the location of the hotel the day before check-in. Because it is a commercial street, the car cannot directly reach the hotel entrance! But it is also very convenient to walk in from Zhongshan Middle Road. The hotel is a 5-minute walk to West Street, which is very lively😀. Secondly, I am very satisfied with the room type, and the smart toilet is also one of my favorite points. Although there are not many varieties of breakfast, it is delicious. Watermelon praise😊 It is worth recommending to everyone. If you come to Quanzhou again, you will still stay in Xiangyu😊

Convenient Location: Situated close to major attractions and business districts, with plenty of dining and shopping options easily accessible nearby. Excellent Service: The front desk staff were highly responsive, and the room service was meticulous and attentive. Well-Equipped Facilities: The rooms were clean and tidy, featuring comfortable bedding and strong water pressure in the bathroom.
