"Hampton provides excellent stay at a reasonable price. The hotel is new and close to the sea, clean and has good facilities. Luggage storage is small and single elevator is sometimes slow. We stayed in the smaller building. There is one bigger, but I don't know whether it is for hotel rooms or for apartments. Otherwise all facilities are excellent, inside the rooms as well as outside. That is why it has high review rating."

"A wonderfully quiet spot, yet so close to everything, and just a 6-7 minute walk from the beach, surrounded by countless delicious eateries. The hotel lobby's thoughtful touches for kids, like fresh yellow peaches and complimentary sand toys, were a big hit. They seamlessly combined the twin beds to create a massive 2.7-meter bed, which was perfect for our family of three. Coming back each day to a comfortable hot shower with fantastic water pressure was perfect for washing away the day's fatigue. Our child already asked if we could come back next time!"

"Convenient Location, directly above a large shopping mall with a good variety of shopping and food & beverage options. The hotel and mall are directly linked through the 4th floor, though it is closed outside of the mall operating hours. Room was clean and toiletries were nice! Overall a nice and comfortable stay."

"The front desk staff member was incredibly sweet and pleasant, offering very warm and attentive service. In the afternoon, our child wanted some of the breakfast pancakes. We called the front desk, and not only did she not refuse our request, but she actually managed to find some and personally delivered them to our room. This act of kindness deeply touched our entire family! The hotel's cleanliness, needless to say, was outstanding! The bathroom, with its separate wet and dry areas, was very convenient to use. The room ventilation was also excellent, and I was so impressed by the cleanliness that I specifically looked for dust motes in the sunlight and found absolutely none. Behind the hotel, there's a large supermarket, making it incredibly convenient to pick up anything we needed. Choosing to stay at the University Town Mercure Hotel in Haigang District this time was definitely the right call. Getting a taxi to go anywhere was super convenient, and it even felt like tourists had priority! A big thumbs up to Qinhuangdao's cultural and tourism department! When traveling as a family, safety and comfort are paramount. We originally considered a guesthouse, but after weighing all factors, especially with a child, a hotel was definitely the better choice. Next time we visit Qinhuangdao, we will certainly head straight for Mercure again!"

"I recently stayed in room 3129 at this hotel and overall, I had a good experience. The location is excellent as it sits right in front of the beach. The hotel also has a hot spring which is a nice addition, although some areas were not functioning properly due to being broken. The reception staff was very attentive and friendly, particularly one male employee. However, it seemed that the female staff members were not as willing to work. I highly recommend trying the massage services offered at the hotel. I had a neck and back massage which left me satisfied. The breakfast buffet was decent and the dining room supervisor and the reception staff at the buffet were friendly and hardworking. Most of the cooks and servers provided good service. I would also recommend paying for the dinner buffet as it offers a wide variety of seafood. The only downside was a young grill cook who lacked proper manners when I asked a question about the food. He responded lazily and rudely. Additionally, there was a young waitress with a tattoo on her leg who seemed uninterested in working. While the rest of her colleagues were cleaning and setting up tables, she would simply join them and sit down or play with her mobile phone. In terms of the room, the cleanliness was below the minimum standard. It was quite neglected, as they only mopped the floor and it still wasn't clean. There were hairs from previous guests throughout the room. The private hot spring in the room could also use some improvement. "The hotel is pretty good, the room is clean and warm, the hotel facilities are complete, the furnishings are exquisite, the location is easy to find, the front desk service is thoughtful and warm, the front desk lady is very nice, and the nearby places to play are not far away. "The room was nice, if a little small. The garden room has its own courtyard on the first floor, and right outside it is the beach. 🏖️ It's perfect for families with children. There were some damaged facilities, but the staff helped report it and a technician repaired it shortly after. The breakfast could be more varied, and the main course was a little cold. During peak hours, it can be crowded, so you have to wait a bit, but the staff cleans up quickly. I'd still choose Yuntinghai next time I bring children."
