The best choice in every way. The room and building were clean, and the mattress was soft! I had to go to the airport on the last day of my trip, so I stayed at another hotel, and it was very different. Smoking rooms seem to be common in China, but this was a non-smoking room, and there was no smell in the room. It's a short walk to May Fourth Square and Hisense Square (Sailing Beach?). Taxis were easy to catch. Most importantly, the staff were very friendly. The guy with the horn-rimmed glasses was very friendly. If I come back again, I'll definitely stay here.
