The room was very spacious, and overall, I had an excellent impression. On the first day, I had a minor hiccup with breakfast due to my own misunderstanding, but the hotel staff quickly sorted it out. The breakfast spread was very generous. However, there are a couple of points that could be improved: 1. The elevators were quite slow. During peak times, waiting times for the elevator were 5 minutes or longer. 2. More attention should be paid to the finer details of room cleanliness. The duvet had mold spots inside and is definitely due for replacement.

The room, at 50 square meters, was quite spacious, and cleanliness was acceptable. However, there was no lighting by the window, making the entire room feel a bit dim. The front desk staff were very friendly, and complimentary parking was a plus. My main disappointment was the mini-bar, which only offered one bottle of mineral water and two Cokes – quite basic. For a room costing over 1000 RMB, I'd expect amenities like Tsingtao beer or some snacks to be included.

The facilities are quite dated; it feels like an older property that has undergone a renovation or rebranding, not a new build. A hotel without a pool shouldn't be rated 5-star. The elevators are incredibly slow, and there are only two of them. Breakfast was very average. During peak season, the value for money is extremely poor. I had two options when booking, and I might have chosen this one, possibly influenced by its older establishment, but it's actually not a new hotel.

While I can accept that hotel prices increase during the summer peak season, the room facilities were quite dated. However, what was truly unacceptable was the room's cleanliness. Daily housekeeping merely involved emptying the trash and refilling water bottles; they didn't even bother to pick up a single piece of paper from the floor. Upon checking in on the first night, I immediately noticed the floor was very dirty, with a lot of hair in both the room and the bathroom. On the second day, after being out all day, I returned in the evening to find the bed hadn't been made. The front desk's explanation was that they assumed we wouldn't want anyone touching our bedding (because I had laid down a disposable bedsheet), and therefore didn't make the bed. On the morning of the third day, a staff member was waiting directly outside the adjacent room and asked if I was the one who called the night before? I was speechless! Overall, the experience was extremely poor! (Picture 2 shows the tissue on the floor, which remained there until we checked out.) Stayed two consecutive days in Qingdao during summer vacation, paying nearly 1000 RMB per night, and I can only say the experience was extremely poor! **Facilities**: The incredibly slow and low-capacity elevators were one of the main reasons for the low rating. They showed full with only about 8 people, and there were several times I waited through multiple cycles and still couldn't get in. My schedule was already tight, and I wasted a lot of time waiting for the elevators! **Hygiene**: Pictures 1 and 2 show the hygiene conditions. There were too many neglected spots in the room, and the window screens were covered in thick dust – it was disgusting. **Environment**: Acceptable. **Service**: For such a large hotel, there was no food heating service! When I asked the front desk, the reason given was that the hotel doesn't have a restaurant, and the staff leave after breakfast. This led to me unnecessarily wasting the food I had packed back! **Summary**: The score I'm giving is purely for the breakfast, which was excellent 👍. Other than that, the hotel's price was completely disproportionate to its facilities, hygiene, and service. I will definitely not stay here again next time I visit Qingdao.
