I enjoyed staying at James Joyce Coffetel. The room was clean and spacious. The advertised “sea-view” is only a partial sea view, but still a great view to see. There are some renovations going on and lots of drilling and building noises will affect your routine if you like sleeping in late or taking afternoon naps. Thank you for the good service!

The location is good and we are happy to have a room with sea view. The breakfast was served cold and we were relieved to have a cup of hot coffee at the front desk. The AC was not working properly only provided heating.

This was a great choice for my hotel stay in Qingdao. First of all, the personnel was very kind to check me in before the official check-in time. It was very valuable after an early morning train journey. Unfortunately, initially, I did not have the room which I would expect - it had a room, but with the view over some technical corridor with no daylight. I appreciate that the staff listened to my concerns and gave me a new room with a fantastic view instead! The room was sparklingly clean. It had everything needed for a perfect stay. The hotel's location is also perfect - a short walk away from the railway station.

Facilities: The hotel opened last year and is considered a new hotel. The hardware is OK at present Hygiene: Hygiene needs to be improved. There is a Snickers wrapper left by the previous guest on the bedside table in the room The breakfast variety is all there should be, it is still good. 2 coffee rolls are also given. Overall, the price-performance ratio is still relatively high. The room rate of less than 300 is very nice in this season.

The front desk service is super good. I called in advance to inform them that the hotel next door was under renovation and it would be noisy. When I checked in at the hotel, the front desk reminded me again that the next door was under renovation and I was afraid of being disturbed. They also gave me free coffee and informed me of the location and time of breakfast. The lobby is very warm and has a lounge area. The room is clean and tidy with complete facilities. The front desk is equipped with computers, printers, and microwaves. There are laundry rooms, dryers, and ironing machines. The breakfast is fresh and rich. It is also very close to the trestle, Zhongshan Road, and the Catholic Church. The transportation is convenient. After getting off the high-speed rail, it takes only a few minutes to walk to the destination. It is super good 👍🏻

The location is very good! You can walk directly to the hotel from Qingdao Station. It is very close to the pier, which is a surprise beyond the reservation. The hotel is within a five-minute walk from the pier, and there are also many restaurants downstairs. It is very convenient to walk to the church and Zhongshan Road. The hotel service staff are very good, and the front desk lady and brother are responsible for the service in a timely manner!!! The hotel accommodation environment is very good, and the coffee is also very delicious (free American coffee). I stayed here for two days. Whether it is transportation or service hygiene, it is very good. I will recommend friends to come here!!!

The location is easy to find, you can see the pier, it's quiet, the front desk service is very good and enthusiastic, tell me in advance because it may be a bit noisy because of the renovation next to it, the room is large, there is a bathtub with a disposable bathtub cover, it takes about 10 minutes to get to the pier and the church
