Worst experience with food! Rooms are equipped but okayish. They serve stale food! Please beware of restaurant service! Overall the property is nice but not very well maintained. Wasn’t expected of this quality especially as this is listed as a 3 star property and the booking process starts months back.

Location is good. Food is outsourced with limited option and average quality. Amenities were below par. Services by mr. Prashant needs to be appreciated. We had booked accommodation and food for three persons, but only two of us stayed. We couldn’t cancel one person’s stay in the facility although we tried on multiple occasions. Neither the hotel was willing to refund the cost of stay and food for one person who didn’t show up.

Breakfast is okay although they do not have a restaurant, hygiene and safety are substandard, electrical outlets do not work, no complementary water bottle or tea kits are provided, no geyser is provided as promised, only one caretaker who has to be called over phone for every need, terrace is full of empty whisky and beer bottles, overall uncomfortable stay

Horrible experience. The staffs and the proprietor were bd mannered and refused to open gate at 5 am. Beds were shabby. Total wasteful experience

Having stayed at other WBFDC resorts in the past, I thought the govt accomodations in Bengal had really improved. But sad to say that this property still belongs to the earlier age. The gardens are well kept but the rooms were very dissapointing. They are decorated with cheap looking and badly maintained furniture (we were in super deluxe room). The bathroom was smelly and had a big hole for water drainage through which insects and worse could've entered from outside. The quality of food was OK but the dining room was always dirty and only staffed by two old people who unfortunately cannot keep up with the service when the room is full. Worst is the 'chalta hain' attitude of the manager, Suman Kar. He is mostly seen lounging outside his office but never bothered to check with the guests on their well-being or never visited the dining rooms during lunch or dinner times. Whenever we spoke to him, it appeared as if the guests are a burden to him and he would have been happier if the rooms were rather empty.

Huge area amidst of forest. needs improvement especially restaurant. Rooms are OK. 5 hours drive from Kolkata. Ample parking space. precaution to be taken for kids against insects & flies. Kids play area is there. one suggestion: please include complimentary breakfast like WB tourism as WBFDC is priced same as WBTDC or any other state tourism property.
