AC Hotel Punta Cana

The hotel was fabulous in that it was clean, spacious, modern, and had a calm business vibe. It is set outside of the main Madrid attractions, which is nice for business travelers. If you are traveling to see the sites, you will need to take an Uber/ taxi, which is about 15-20 minutes per traffic and time of day. It's not bad, but not ideal if you want to walk out from your hotel and be in the action. Apart from location, the front desk staff are super friendly and helpful, the hotel has a modern vibe, and has some cool restaurants located around its vicinity. Im a huge fan of AC hotels now because of this beauty we stayed at in Madrid! Although its kinda far from the attractions, I'd still return and stay at this location again and refer it to future travelers!

Cap Cana
5 Stars! We had an incredible stay at Eden Roc Cap Cana during the Festive Period. We traveled with our three children (ages 13-16) and another family with children the same age. From the moment we arrived at Eden Roc we knew we were in for a special treat! The level of service, primarily from our two concierge leads, Alberto and Junior, was top notch. From a simple question, to needing things for the room, to arranging transportation, to helping us manage our itinerary, they did everything! The beach and restaurant staff were outstanding! Not only very attentive, but fun to talk to and get to know. They took care of us everyday! The 2025 New Years Eve Party, Allegria, was AMAZING! We danced until after 1:00AM. What a fun experience for our families! HIGHLY recommend! We will definitely be back for another 5 Star and Memorable Experience!

If I could give this 0 Stars I would, Take this review very serious I have stayed in over 4000 Hotels in my life. First and foremost just DO NOT STAY HERE even if it is $50 A WEEK! I promise you anywhere is better than here. If you want to take some roaches home and start a path down the road where it will cost you or your apartment complex and neighbors hundreds of thousands to get rid of these pests, or if you already have them and you are bringing them with you than so be it, but if you are a person who cares about your hygiene, keeps a clean house and does not like bugs this is NOT the place for you. IF you want to have a nice evening inside and watch some TV after cooking a nice meal and be in a cool environment DO NOT BOOK HERE! There is no Air conditioning in the living room and the TV is like a small monitor attached to the wall that can not be moved. IF you want to have a comfortable pillow, DO NOT BOOK HERE! The pillows are the thinnest I have ever seen. If you want a clean comfortable bed, DO NOT BOOK HERE! The bed had stains of all sorts and lots of questionable black specks including baby roaches, these were dead I think, I didn't stick around to see. IF you want to have a closet to hang your cloths and a mirror to check your self out in, you guessed it, DO NOT STAY HERE!! My closet had a broken mirror that was duct taped back together and the closet door wouldn't even open. Finally if you want a reception with real security that will be available if you need anything or have a problem, DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Not 1, 2, or 3 times did I and or *********** try to contact this property to request my refund with no response but 4 times and still no reply. Also when I arrived the reception was not there and I used google translate to communicate with this guy who had no name tag or anything indicating that he worked there indicating he was security. He told me he needed payment and would need to keep my passport until payment was made but the booking was supposed to be prepaid. This was a complete crap show. They took payment is Euros for whatever reason. If you want to stay at somewhere modern, clean and comfortable, DO NOT STAY HERE!! Even if it free!!! Unless your homeless then at least it's a home. I have stayed in over 4000 hotels over the course of my life and this would rank top 10 worst if that gives you any idea. If this review helped you at all please mark as helpful and follow me for more reviews around the world.

Bavaro
The hotel is located in a great spot, with access to numerous restaurants/bars within a 10 mins walk’s reach. The area is also relatively safe especially on the beach. I would avoid walking around after 1 am as a tourist. The included breakfast was delicious every day and showcased well the country’s culinary expertise. The Bavaro beach right next door is absolutely beautiful with the typical Caribbean beach colors! The staff was very helpful, approachable and down to earth during my stay. I did appreciate that my room was equipped with AC, but I did feel that my room was barebones and could have used hand soaps, body lotion, shampoo and a mini fridge, which is pretty standard in most hotels. Hotel cleanliness was great and I loved the ample amounts of seating areas located around each floor. Considering the affordability of the place, it was great value for money and did not disappoint!

Ok. First off I don't know how anyone could give Marcos and Magdelina anything but 5 stars. They are both fluent in Spanish, English and several other languages which made everything very easy. When I wanted to practice on my Spanish Marcos would speak with me in Spanish and when I wanted to speak in English we spoke in English. If you read the other reviews, some people were confused about where they were and reviewed this place in error. I was traveling solo in the Dominican Republic as a single woman and I was slightly worried before arriving, but the second I walked into the garden late at night to check in - all my fears melted away. The family was sitting having a casual conversation with guests and the kids were playing on the ping pong table. They welcomed me like family. The most gracious couple I have ever met. In addition to being met by Marcos and Magdalena I was also met by a friendly dog which made this feel even more like home. As far as my room went, everything was clean, very spacious, had air conditioning in the bedroom, a mini fridge and some snacks and drinks in the minibar. I settled in immediately. I also ate dinner there every night because the food was so amazing! They have four different menus to choose from, including Dominican food, Caribbean and even Polish food. All of which was absolutely delicious. The service was incredible and it was a true experience that I will never forget. I even got to play air hockey with the kiddos! I almost don't want to write this review because I'm afraid I won't be able to get a reservation when I return next year! Now let's address the fact that this is not an all-inclusive resort. This is a small bed and breakfast that is run by a family. They have a recycle mentality and everything they had is reused and repurposed and I love that vibe. If you are one that wants fancy and luxury or no culture, this probably isn't the place for you. If you're a solo traveler that wants to feel like you're part of a family 1000% recommend. I will return to see them many many times. ♥️
Zoetry Agua Punta Cana

I recently returned from a nine-day stay at Zoetry Agua Punta Cana celebrating a milestone birthday with nine friends. The goal of the trip was rest, relaxation, and rejuvenation. We accomplished all three thanks to the amazing staff at this resort. There are many lovely hotels in Punta Cana but what distinguishes this resort is what everyone says in their reviews - the people. The frontline staff at this resort welcome you in like family and make you feel like a valued guest. A common refrain is 'es un placer' but honestly it was my pleasure to meet and get to know so many of these amazing people. All guests are assigned a concierge who helps to coordinate anything you need. Alejandro expertly attended to all 10 women in our group (no small feat). I looked forward to dinner every night because I knew Soranyi, Maria, Yohanna, Jose, Manuel, and Nathali would be waiting with a big smile to ask about our day and share some laughs over a delicious dinner. Celebrating my birthday with this crew on the beach was a highlight of my stay. The staff at Indigo - Leidy, Fernando, Naomi, Oliver, and Merlyn - got to know us so well we didn't even have to ask for the little extras like an extra glass of ice or another delicious fruit plate. Room service is included at Zoetry and Juan Carlos delivers anything you need or want with a smile. He even came in early on our last day to bring the group coffee on the beach as we met the sunrise. There is no shortage of things to do at this resort coordinated by the incomparable Dalisy, Jason, and Emmanuel Gilberto. A man of many talents Emmanuel even serenaded the group one morning. :-) The entertainment happened most nights at the bar and our favorite bartender, Jordy, created signature cocktails to match the tastes and curiosities of every member of the group, even treating us to some theatrics involving fire on the last night. I never learned the names of the landscapers but the care they take with every perfectly placed orchid and carefully pruned bush makes this resort a lush tropical oasis. My favorite place on the property was the spa. This tranquil escape is expertly managed by Perla. Her team personalizes your experience down to the selection of flavored water after your treatment to correspond with your unique health needs. Whether you are there for a treatment or to take advantage of the complimentary daily hydrotherapy you are treated to a warm welcome from Wanda, and invited to enjoy the courtyard that is lovingly attended by Dominga. I had several treatments from expert therapists like Johaira and Jocelyn. If you stay here you MUST get a treatment at the spa. I am grateful to all of these people for warmly caring for me and my friends during our stay. No resort is perfect, but the people mentioned here allow the management at Zoetry to cover the flaws that might otherwise knock a star or two off of this rating. If you do visit please give everyone a big hug for me. They are the real heroes of this resort
