Secrets Tides Punta Cana - Adults Only

My partner and I stayed at Secrets Tides for 4 nights in July 2025. The resort is stunning and it is very apparent it is newer, especially when compared to other resorts in the area. We did not do preferred club and did not feel we needed it as we weren’t concerned about having a butler or the speciality restaurant. Our service was just as good! The beach is not swimmable at the moment due to the seaweed, but it was still very nice to walk and lay on. Entertainment and activities were great and the staff are all characters! Overall food was very good for an all inclusive. Tierra was amazing and our favorite restaurant and we thought the buffet at market cafe was very good as well.

We booked our Late July visit to Secrets TIDES in March 2024 - over a year out. We came with another couple for a weeklong get away. Upon arrival we were greeted with cool towels and a glass of bubbly. We then went into the Preferred Club Lounge. We received an upgrade to a Master Ocean Front Suite and our friends received an upgrade to an Pref Club Ocean view room. The accommodations were excellent and the service we received during the week was outstanding - daily servicing of the room and mini-bar as well as turndown service, Any requests we had were fulfilled Promptly. We at all of the restaurants except the seafood one (mainly because the other restaurants also had seafood dishes and there were several we went back to during our visit. The grounds were beautiful and while the resort seems deep, it didn't really take a long time to go from the beach to the back of the resort. The only issue is one that is completely out of the control of the resort - the sargassum seaweed. They had crews running all day trying to clean it up but there were several small storms that seemed to make it worse. There was one day that there wasn't any in the morning but started washing in mid-afternoon. Only way to avoid it is not to visit during the late spring-summer months. Every pool at a bar close and there were waitresses going around bringing drinks all day. We were generous with our first tip each day and we never had an empty glass. As far as entertainment - we went to 4 of the shows and really enjoyed them. Will definitely come back one some day.
