Hotel Galapagos Tortuga Bay

Jose, the manager, went above and beyond to meet the needs of our group. In particular, the vegetarian food options were outstanding, the small snacks provided for our group and the care for our safety and enjoyment of the hotel were amazing. So grateful for the attention to detail and care.

I can’t even start to explain how incredible this hotel was! The rooms were clean and spacious but the service is what made my stay! I went here on a class trip and our whole trip was in awe of how kind the people were here. The food and the restaurant were so great, the amenities were so great, and the staff were just incredible. At one point I was sick and in the middle of the night the manager who was sleeping with his family got up and brought me a blanket. When we were supposed to leave the Galapagos our flight got cancelled we spent many hours trying to find a hotel for 16 people that would take us up at 8:00 at night and Tortuga bay was so kind and helpful in making our situation less stressful by allowing us to stay there on such late notice. When we got to the hotel late at night the manager was standing right inside waiting to help us. They still served us dinner even though it had closed over an hour ago, and the next day when our bus was late then even made us each popcorn for the plane ride. If you are ever staying on the Santa Cruz Island I cannot recommend this hotel enough!

I had a wonderful solo trip to the Galapagos and I loved this hotel. The room was clean, and the staff really went above and beyond during my stay. They even left this for me on International Women’s Day. If I ever come back to the Galapagos, I am for sure staying here again. Gracias amigos!
