Walking through the grounds at Semilla Verde was an adventure, with giant tortoises browsing on the grass and cooling off in the pond. Every stroll through the garden revealed something different. The rooms were very comfortable, the meals were delicious and generous, and the staff managed every thing impeccably. Transport and local directions were all very easily accessed from the helpful staff.

A fantastic travel experience. Food, accommodations, woodland walks, 100 yr old tortuga - all excellent. Staff exceeded all expectations… somehow whenever you needed something, someone appeared! — be it planning your day, ordering a cab, special diet, wet cell phone — whatever. easy, comfortable and welcoming.

Semilla Verde was ideal home base to explore the Galapagos! From this location, my wife and I took several excursions, including snorkeling, scuba, nature walks, restaurants, and more. The Semilla Verde team made all the arrangements with professional naturalists, boat companies, and walking guides. It was all seamless. Additionally, Catya and her Semilla Verde team made every effort to ensure that our stay was comfortable and relaxing. Their organization skills and food preparation were both top notch. They made us feel that Semilla Verde was "home" for our 5 day stay. We recommend Semilla Verde highly, and without reservation!

We had a wonderful stay at Semilla Verde! Our room was impeccably clean and comfortable. The meals were absolutely delicious! We thoroughly enjoyed all of our excursions on the island of Santa Cruz . Our hostess, Catya, took the time each day to go over the details of our trips that were expertly planned by our travel agent, Cristina, from Galway Travel.

Fue una excelente opción haberme hospedado en Semilla Verde, es un hotel boutique que no solamente tiene lo necesario para tener una estancia agradable. El hotel esta ubicado a 10 kilometros o 15 minutos en taxi de puerto ayora. El Clima pese a estar a 10 kms del puerto es diferente. El hotel está en medio del bosque en una propiedad donde uno puede encontrar tortugas gigantes, me toco ver 5 y en el hotel el clima era nublado, algo de lluvia, mientras en el puerto mucho mas calor, cielo despejado. También destaco como lo principal la atención de todo el staff, en particular de Katia que es la gerente que en todo momento estuvo al pendiente de cualquier cosa, te hacen sentir como en tu casa. Asimismo el haber contratado directamente los tours en semilla verde fue un acierto, todos los tours que tomamos fueron puntuales y de primer nivel. También destaco el profesionalismo de Robert, propietario, que supo resolver todas las dudas que tuve antes de reservar en el hotel.

We traveled with our family of six to the Galapagos, and - thanks to Cattya and her team - had the best experience. They took care of everything, amazing food, transportation, solid recommendations, unforgettable day trips with the best guides, and a welcoming environment in their beautiful resort - we saw it all in less than a week. We can highly recommend Semilla Verde to any traveler keen on a smooth adventure.

Perfect setting for our yoga retreat! From the beautiful grounds (with a bonus giant tortoise who hung out in the shallow duck pond and peered in the studio window) to the lovely, clean and comfortable rooms to the delicious meals our group enjoyed, I could not imagine a more perfect setting for our week on Santa Cruz Island. Cattya and her staff are exceptional --- knowledgeable, kind, efficient and professional --- they made sure our every need was met. Cattya arranged transportation and guided excursions and was flexible regarding any last-minute changes in our activity schedule --- they even managed to order up a total ***** eclipse during our stay! Semilla Verde is magic --- highly recommend!!

Loved the natural beauty of the place. Our room was very good and very well kept. All the facilities were fabulous . Especially loved the yoga studio n the tortoises by the pond. Food was great and service was really great at all times. Manager provided great information for all our excursions.
