Beautiful grounds, unique and charming tower suite with 2 patios and a view, peaceful pool area, good breakfast, friendly staff, walkable to town and port yet far enough away to be peaceful and a little secluded as it is next to the national park. Just the right vibe to come home to after adventure touring.

Had a great stay at la fortaleza. It was clean and comfortable, with nice common areas to relax. Perfect location - on the edge of the park so it's very quiet and peaceful, but only a 5-10 minute walk from the main part of town. Breakfast each day was nice. And the owners were very helpful and welcoming.

The character of the hosts and the character of the hotel. The primary hostess, Gianna, was born for this role. A people person by nature, her fun-loving spirit, social curiosity, and caregiving nature, will make you feel welcomed, supported, and appreciated. She goes beyond the call. The building itself is teaming with novelty, bells, and whistles. You'll want to explore every nook and cranny of this historic building. A refreshing change from the humdrum of chain hotels. The facilities were reliable. I especially appreciated the user friendly shower, and its well regulated pressure and temperature. A rarity at most hotels these days. The location is underrated. It is like a five minute walk from the main drag, and a twenty minute walk from the furthest point of the main drag. Its comparatively secluded location adds to the feeling of retreat.

Estuve en Semana Santa de este año de vacaciones en esta posada para conocer las bellezas naturales del archipiélago. Los servicios prestados son deplorables, comenzando por la dueña que te recibe en forma arrogante y descuidada. Las habitaciones llenas de humedad y con la madera comida por unas supuestas termitas que ya habian sido tratadas. El agua para tomar, una sola botella. Cuando pedí mas porque tenía sed se me indicó "ya se te dio el agua suficiente, si quieres mas, comprala afuera". Las toallas, cambiadas una vez en una semana. Cuando pedi la factura, me contestaron "aqui no entregamos factura". Me pregunto: Como pagan impuestos? SERVICIO NEFASTO FORTALEZA LLENA DE TERMITAS DUENOS DESAGRADABLES DINERO QUE GASTEN ES BOTADO.

Ein familiär geführtes Haus, sehr zuvorkommend, blitzsaubere Zimmer, Aircondition, man teilt das Zimmer mit dem einen oder anderen kleinen Gecko, welche einfach dazu gehören. Genauso wie der sehr freundliche Service , Frühstück nach eigenen Wünschen . Absolut ruhige Lage und trotzdem ist man in wenigen Minuten mitten im Ort und am Hafen.

Quiero hacer notar que las fotos o videos no pueden captar la gentileza, servicio, amabilidad de sus dueños. Mi experiencia en Galapagos superó cualquier expectativa posible y debo decir que una de las personas que me ayudo para que así sea fue Gianna, la dueña del hotel. El lugar es muy lindo y limpio, el área de la piscina es cómoda y relajante. El hotel está en una área muy tranquila por lo que en la noches tienes paz y quietud para poder descansar cómodamente. A pie se hace alrededor de quince minutos desde el hotel, pero es súper seguro y agradable caminar por las calles. Espero poder regresar y que un día tener encebollado de Roberto de desayuno . Gracias por todo!
