Pu'er Runli Shijia Homestay Reviews

Originally, i booked only 1 night, with the intention of going onwards to Laos the next day. But i stayed a 2nd night because the room was spacious and the view out of the window was so restful. About the room, I like it that there is a desk i could work from. And that the shower and WC areas are divided by a screen. For the 2nd day, my room was refreshed with used toiletries replenished and towels changed. I wish the guesthouse would implement a system where guests are able to indicate if they wish to use the same towels. I am pro-environment, so if i don't change my towels everyday at home, i don't see the need to do so when i am away. I also like the location as it was easy for me to catch Bus Route 3 to a nearby shopping area (i had KFC breakfast there), cross the road to take Bus Route 8 to Meizi Lake Park. I spent about 3 hours there, including enjoying coffee and cake in the cafe near the entrance to the park. (My biggest regard was i did not get to drink even 1 cup of Pu'er tea while in Pu'er :)) After that I back tracked on Bus Route 8 to change to Bus Route 3 to visit the Tea Horse Ancient City. Then after, I took Bus Route 3 to the shopping centre, had dinner and shopped at Walmart, before catching Bus Route 3 back to the guesthouse. There is a walking/running track just across the road from the guesthouse. Forget about going the full length of the track. Once you see a slope on the right side, walk up there. You will get a nice viewpoint and there is a nice cafe there. If the weather is right, you get to see sunrise too! I went in the morning, the cafe was closed, so did not patronise the place. Had I known about this cafe, i would have gone there on the 1st day. Perhaps the guesthouse operator could do up a map with information of easily assessible places of interest. This could result in longer stays for free and easy travellers. Pu'er is a well planned town/city. I like it and will recommend others to spend some time there. Most importantly, do stay at this guesthouse. The surrounding tea plantations will recharge you!

Room was large and worth the low price. It’s within walking distance (16 minutes) of the train station but taxi prices very affordable. Most of the room was extremely clean but the floor wasn’t properly clean because the building is a little old. Overall would recommend.

1 km away from the rail station. Eternal view of the hotel is underwhelming but the rooms are large and in good condition. The view from my room is the terraced tea plantation. The hosts are not experienced hosts but they are kind and helpful. Taxi and ride-hailing is cheap so getting around shouldn’t be a problem.

Very close to Pu'er Train Station, about 2KM to town. Room is huge and very clean, tea terrace view and quite. Very friendly and helpful boss, he even took us to the train station when we check out to catch our train. Thank you very much and will definitely come back next time.

Very spacious room with a beautiful view on the tea fields and only 10 minutes by foot from the train station, there's also a bus stop for the city center 2 minutes away. The owners are really nice, they came to meet me when I arrived even though it was past 10pm!

The hotel owner is very nice, and provides pick-up and drop-off at the high-speed rail. The hotel is very close to the high-speed rail station, but the surrounding facilities are not complete, and you have to walk a long way to eat.

The biggest advantage of this B&B is that the rooms are large and very quiet. The appearance is not very good, but the rooms are very good. The owners are two young people in their 20s. They are enthusiastic and have good attitudes. It is a very good B&B!

The room is spacious, bright, clean and sanitary. There is a tea mountain behind it. It is very close to the high-speed rail station. The landlord can also pick you up at the station, which is very considerate.

This B&B is really extraordinary. I can only say that after staying here for several days in a row, I was really reluctant to leave. I was a bit addicted, haha. I really enjoyed the view of the green tea garden outside the window every day. The boss lady. It's quite nice. Seeing that I was traveling alone and didn't have any transportation, he lent me the electric donkey. Pu'er is a city that you don't want to leave when you come. Trust me, this B&B is highly recommended. The previous good reviews are all the same. It's genuine, just trust me and go for it.
