Hotel is inside the airport, easy access from Milano Central Station with bus it train, it is very easy to go to terminal 1, The room is beautiful and huge, the bed is big and comfortable.

A civilized haven after an awful experience. A stylish, welcoming and luxurious hotel despite check in receptionist being rather abrupt and aloof. Room very comfortable but air con too hot for us UK people..it is as hot at night as we get in summer during the day ! I was eventually assisted to get to the Arctic temperature of 16.5 ! Meal in restaurant was very good, service especially ! Lady serving in the bar was amazing...a real asset to the company ! A professional, someone who can speak to everyone, have fun and keep everyone happy..a real gem ! I will definitely stay here again, it was a real pleasure.

Il Porticciolo must have one of the most beautiful locations of all the lakes of Italy. One whole wall of our very comfortable room overlooked Lake Maggiore and the surrounding snow-capped mountains. We spent a lot of time on our balcony just absorbing the lake and mountains in all of their different moods while the water lapped against the wall directly below us. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the train station, the beautiful town of Laveno-Mombello and the cable car up 1,000m to views that will take your breath away. As well as its superb location, Il Porticciolo has two great restaurants. We have already been in Italy for two months and we would rank the food we were served amongst the very best we have experienced. We found Giovanni and Elisabetta to be great hosts. They were very friendly and looked after us as if we were family. When we arrived the town of Laveno-Mombello was experiencing problems with its gas supplies and Giovanni immediately offered us a free breakfast to compensate for any discomfort. We also enjoyed long conversations with Elisabetta and she drove us to the train station free of charge when we had to catch an early train after our 7 day stay. We would highly recommend Il Porticciolo to you and the great welcome you will receive from Elisabetta and Giovanni.

Purtroppo pessima per colpa della scarsa gentilezza del personale. Sono incinta al terzo mese arrivati alla reception mi sono sentita dire, noi le donne incinte non le accettiamo, con dei modi ostili incredibili. Poi ho spiegato che avevo chiesto al mio dottore e mi aveva detto tranne la sauna puoi fare tutto. Lei sempre con fare molto scocciato mia ha detto ok. Abbiamo fatto il pacchetto da 70€ con aperitivo di mezzogiorno. Purtroppo scarsissimo, due tre pezzettini di formaggio grandi nemmeno due centimetri, oltretutto scarsissima qualità. Non lo consiglio, per 30€ ho mangiato praticamente solo pane! Alla richiesta è possibile avere un secondo accappatoio (pagato 8€ il set) perché il mio era diventato freddo e zuppo mi è stato detto. Non è previsto deve ripagarlo. Ben poca comprensione nemmeno ad una donna incinta. Per il resto la spa merita anche se con finiture e arredi secondo me assolutamente da rivedere.

Everything was perfect for me. Before getting to Milano, I've been to Nordic countries which cost more, this hotel took a very reasonable price for me. And the staffs were pretty kind. I still remember one staff kindly asked me 'coffee or cappuccino?' And she explained that they bake almost of the bread. And the facilities could be better. They have a basement parking lot. I highly recommend this hotel and I'll be back whenever I come back to Milano.

Clean and nice rooms. Rooms are large enough for move freely with bags.... Especially restaurant staff are very kind and helpful... We had Just one night in hotel but so glad to come.. Meals were tasty. Room is clear and bed is so comfortable.

Don't go there - they do wrong advertising about their pool and hot pot. It's private and needs a reservation in advance - no chance to just hop in the pool! For us are Spa/Wellness/Hot pot a must to select a hotel and this one has completely failed our expectations as well as their own descriptions.

The hotel is on the top of the mountain and needs to take the cable car to the hotel. I didn't expect this, the comment area did not see it, and the hotel industry did not prompt. The road guided by the navigation was very narrow in the end. The ordinary car could not pass. After asking the cable car station, I chose another road to drive to the cable car station parking lot. This is the worst trip to Italy to the hotel, the mountain is cold, the facilities are simple, the old lady at the front desk does not understand English, and another young man translates. Breakfast also wants to have less variety. The hotel has a large restaurant that entertains cable car guests.
