This small hotel on the island of Ortigia , is a gem. It’s on the seafront, and rooms with a sea view are the best so ask. It has several flights of stairs , to reception and the bedrooms and the roof terrace.. Our room was very spacious , with a great bathroom. Comfortable beds, great a/c and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was in the hotel opposite , very basic but enough. I can recommend the omelettes, and the cheeses. What makes this hotel so good though is the staff . They are very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble . We loved our stay on this lovely historic island.

The DMB was one of the surprise highlights of our recent Sicily trip. The sense of arrive that we received from Cinzia and Davide was phenomenal! Not only did they provide an over the top arrival experience but they were constantly available to make us feel at home in this amazingly comfortable boutique hotel. Their location provides great views and it's close to anything you want to see. Their breakfasts were over the top. Can't wait to go back and we again want to thank you C & D for all you warmth!
