Province of Sassari Hotels with Pools

Don’t be put off by the other reviews-this place has everything you need! The beach is the best we found in Sardinia, the pool is large and clean and the loungers and umbrellas are plentiful at both. Our apartment was clean and a decent size, comfortable large beds as well, and my low expectations were surpassed. Sure, it’s not brand new and you could pay more for luxurious accomodation if that is what you want, but we found it excellent value for money and it had everything we needed for our large family group with teens. I spent a beautiful afternoon at the very reasonably priced spa-great treatments and the facilities were luxurious. We dined at the ala carte restaurant and it was fine-not the best food we had in Sardinia but pretty good, and well priced.

The hotel was spotless and many of the staff members were very friendly and helpful. Especially Concetta who was sorting breakfast and lunch out. She would go out of her way to bring us a coffee or anything that we needed and was very friendly and helpful. We also had Angelo who works in the bar by the swimming pool and would happily make you any cocktail and happily open the the sun parasol for you everyday. However, I was a bit disappointed with having to get a shuttle bus to get to the beach or into San Teodoro town and having to pay for this service as unless you had a car it was impossible to get any where as the hotel was about 10 minutes away from everything. La cinta beach was beautiful, but again having to get the shuttle bus to get there and once on the beach you had quite a long walk to get to the sun loungers. My main problem was that the toilets or bar area was such a long way. My other problem was as a non swimmer trying to get into the swimming pool was very awkward as the steps were only on the deep end. We were lucky to have a nice time, but the hotel location, shops and town were not walking distance.

I took my mother to Sardinia for a week and booked this hotel based on previous reviews. What a great choice! Its remoteness is part of its charm because we were able to completely unwind and relax. We had ‘superior’ rooms overlooking the outdoor pool and to wake up each morning with that view sets the day perfectly. Breakfast & dinner choices are superb; more hot food options at breakfast would be welcome. Evening set menus and a la carte options offer tremendous choice. Also, wines by the glass, half carafe & carafe are available. All of the staff, to a person, are friendly and helpful; a credit to the hotel. Special mention for Giorgia who helped us brilliantly when our BA flight was delayed by two hours. Star of the show is Vanni, the Resident Manager. Possibly the most welcoming and helpful ‘concierge’ I’ve ever dealt with. Nothing is too much trouble and is always done with a smile. He can sort out car hire, which is essential if you want to explore further afield. Definitely returning

Excellent hôtel! Food is very good, enjoyed by adults and children at every meal, the variety is good and the quality is excellent. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful with a special mention for the fantastic animation team who never seem to sleep and are always proposing activities, games and shows without being invasive. My youngest will definitely miss Roberto and Emilian. The site is just gorgeous with views you could never get tired of. Wonderful holiday would definitely come back!

Stunning views. I stayed at the Beach hotel All inclusive. Greeted by a friendly helpful receptionist with a stunning sea view. My room was lovely, comfortable bed, cleaners twice a day, towels changed daily. Beach towel free of charge. Food was plentiful breakfast choice really good warm options and continental. The fresh bottles fruit juices were fabulous. As you’d imagine in Italy great fresh coffee too. Lunch and Dinner plenty of choice and delicious, the pasta and fresh fish were amazing. The restaurant staff worked hard, were friendly and helpful, a choice of beer, wine and water with your meals. Bar room staff again friendly, helpful and welcoming. The quality of all inclusive drinks were very good. Pool was a bit too cold for me but hey nearing the end of the season no surprise. The sea was just right. Regular shuttles to beach, reception and restaurants. Beach area clean and stunning views. Excursion company staff very helpful and I did 2 lovely excursions also. I never found staff rude not once. Treat staff with warmth, respect and courtesy I find you get the same in return. The staff were fabulous. My positives - the views to die for. And the choice of beautiful fresh food. Lovely fellow guests too. My negatives - need more fly control In food areas I know it’s difficult when eating Al fresco but some control needed. Also entertainment far too loud difficult to hold a conversation at the bar, not at all entertaining when you’re deafened at times. I would definitely stay here again. We paid £1328.40 for a 9 night stay in September 2023. We were given room number 100, inexplicably with an extra single bed in the room. (We won't complain about the extra space!) --- Good: Buffet was convenient for not wasting time and still getting a balanced diet. (We were at a festival and had lots of things to do, so saving time on ordering and paying the bill was helpful!) Lots of vegetables, salad, and fruit on offer (if a little basic at times), and decent enough quality pasta etc. On occasion we'd pay local restaurants for comparable or worse food, so we were actually very happy that the hotel food was available. Power stays on in the rooms when you leave, so you can charge batteries etc. Refrigerator. It worked and didn't make much noise. Staff were largely very helpful, polite, and friendly. The poolside bar was good for a cocktail or two. Sadly no Bloody Mary on offer, though 😅 --- Bad: Insecure luggage storage. Despite claiming they offer luggage storage, it's essentially a room where anyone can walk in and take anything. We did not feel comfortable leaving laptop computers and passports there so ended up taking this stuff to the beach on our last day, which just adds a little extra stress to what should be an enjoyable day. Mosquitoes in room. Open drain in shower felt like a liability, so we used a plastic cup to close it while we weren't showering, but not sure if this really helped. The cleaners would obviously remove it every time anyway leaving it open for much of the day while we were out. We found we couldn't really relax by the pool due to the music - sometimes some cheesy Italian ballads played very loud. Likely a matter of taste (I'm used to enjoying mellow Balearic beats in these situations), but it just feels really bizarre and frankly stressful at times due to overpowering, passionate Italian vocalists. At 2pm, just after lunch service, the entertainers run a 15 minute quiz in Italian that was so loud we struggled to even have a conversation during it. It seemed like fun and the Italian guests were enjoying it, though! Mold on wall underneath air conditioner due to excess moisture dripping from it. It was a very old unit with no remote control. We didn't notice till the last evening that there was liquid pooling on the floor which was a bit disgusting given the mold. Comforter on the bed was clearly not being washed between guest stays. Minor but noticeable stains on it that definitely were not from us. We just tried to not think too much about it. 😅 No ”Do Not Disturb” signs - woken up on the first morning by cleaners, twice, and no way to lock the door properly from inside to prevent them entering. Asked reception for a sign but they just didn't have an answer as to why they didn't have them. We ended up writing out our own and putting it up on the door, so that we could sleep in, and have our room made up in the afternoon. This worked, but for the first day we were just very tired. This is a good place to stay when you are passing through - easy to get to and out of town so easy parking. Pool is ok, restaurant looked nice, staff were extremely friendly, room was clean and comfortable. The only downside was the mattress, which was not great.But overall a good place to stay if you want to explore the surrounding countryside and then want to relax in the evening without the bustle of town.

Abbiamo alloggiato nella camera 107 in formula Mezza pensione dal 9 al 14 giugno. Camera : Grande, ben arredata, e con un bel bagno finestrato. Pulizia : Ottima . Veramente attenta l'impresa di pulizie. Spazi comuni: nel periodo di nostra permanenza erano in corso interventi di manutenzione e ripristino ambienti , compresa la piscina più grande, che non hanno inciso sulla qualità del soggiorno. In ogni caso abbiamo potuto usufruire della piscina più piccola. Ristorazione : Ottima sotto tutti gli aspetti : Ogni sera ci veniva proposto un Menù diverso, con una scelta fra Tre primi , Tre secondi e Due Contorni. Bevande e Dessert a parte. Qualità e composizione dei piatti ineccepibile . Ci torneremo.
