My first love at 17...I remembered this lovely, cosy and welcoming family-friendly hotel. Owned by what I have always considered the ideal family. Everyone is very helpful and friendly, polite, professional and warm. The beach is accessed through a carpet of beneficial algae and the water is transparent, with silky sand and heartwarming views: a magic spell of boats and rocks ever so relaxing and dreamy. The beach bar offers refreshments and light lunch options as well as the typical Italian confectionary gelati. I had a lovely fresh tuna tramezzino- sandwich and 80's style paprika crisps. Umbrellas and sunbeds are arranged for hotel guests on the hotel's private beach, which was beautifully kept in July 2022 as in 1987. There is the option to book meals in the hotel and my friend and I had a dinner which was varied, complete and very good value. Breakfast was also very nice with fresh fruits, a selection of juices, savoury and sweet foods and freshly made coffees on request. Andrea at the reception was a real gentleman with kind sparkly eyes and very helpful. The Lady of the house takes care of the gorgeous plants, beautiful flowers and guests with a lovely smile, charm and perfect English conversation. I love the vintage look of the hotel decor ( treasures of painting, art and jewellery scattered in the reception area) and the classic style of the comfortable bedrooms. The complementary courtesy sewing kit is always a very useful, and classy touch. The hotel has been fully refurbished and conserved the timeless class and style we know and love. Thank you so very much for a lovely welcome. I hope to visit again, very soon.

Dopo aver soggiornato per nove notti in questo albergo, non posso che parlarne molto bene per molteplici aspetti. Comincio dalla posizione, strategica, alle porte di Calasetta, il cui centro si raggiunge comodamente a piedi in 10 minuti, il porto in un quarto d'ora, come pure a piedi, in soli 5 minuti, si va alla bella Spiaggia cittadina di Sottotorre. Poi la struttura, nuova, con stanze ampie e confortevoli, con un letto comodissimo e dotate di climatizzatore (particolarmente gradito lo split in posizione da non investirci con il flusso d'aria), TV, minibar e fon. A seconda che si trovi al pian terreno o al primo piano, la camera dispone di un piccolo balcone/patio, con stendino, tavolino e un paio di sedie. La colazione presentava una scelta molto ampia sia di dolce che di salato, certamente superiore alla media per un albergo a tre stelle. Completano il quadro positivo l'ampio parcheggio (c'è anche una postazione di ricarica elettrica), una pulizia impeccabile e la gentilezza e disponibilità di tutto il personale.

This review is about the SPA facilities. I advise everyone to book some treatments there as it’s truly relaxing and positive experience. I used the “Aqua journey treatment” (salt room/water massage/sauna/steam room etc) and I also booked a massage few times. All the staff is very friendly and professional, always there to help. I highly recommend a decontracting massage done by Maura as it was the best massage I’ve had in my life ! Maura is a highly professional and skilled masseuse. I left the table feeling like a new born man. I’ve had some problems with muscles around my neck for long time and couldn’t turn my head to one side completely and Maura also fixed this. Thank you again! In Italiano: Questa recensione riguarda le strutture SPA. Consiglio a tutti di prenotare alcuni trattamenti lì perché è un'esperienza davvero rilassante e positiva. Ho usato il ”trattamento Aqua journey” (stanza del sale/massaggio con acqua/sauna/bagno turco ecc.) e ho anche prenotato un massaggio alcune volte. Tutto il personale è molto gentile e professionale, sempre pronto ad aiutare. Consiglio vivamente un decontratturante massaggio fatto da Maura perché è stato il miglior massaggio che ho avuto nella mia vita! Maura è una massaggiatrice altamente professionale e qualificata. Ho lasciato il tavolo sentendomi come un uomo appena nato. Ho avuto alcuni problemi con i muscoli intorno al collo per molto tempo e non riuscivo a girare completamente la testa da un lato e anche Maura ha risolto questo problema. Grazie ancora!
