This “boutique” hotel was NOT inexpensive. The front desk staff was welcoming and helpful. Unfortunately the building itself lacked everything needed for a comfortable stay. The room was so dark it was impossible to read. There was no room for two people to place toiletries in the bathroom. There was no closet or dresser, so if one is staying for more than one night it would be difficult to store clothing. There were exactly two hooks on the wall and four hangers! Worst of all….. the mattress was so uncomfortably soft that my husband slept sitting up on a hard chair. Perhaps some would find this hotel charming, ……not us.

For the cost per night of this hotel ($450 per night for the 1 King Bed room) I was expecting something nicer and roomier. The room had no closet/dresser to store clothes nor did it have a full length mirror or a safe, which feel like standard things to expect in a room, especially one being marketed as “more boutique/upscale” for this area. The shower situation in the bathroom is quite annoying. It is a narrow, stall style shower, but instead of having a glass door, there is a thin bath curtain that sticks to your body the entire time. Also, since there is no tight seal, water gets absolutely everywhere. The front desk/check-in receptionist was not from the area and was not able to provide any bar/restaurant recommendations when asked. It would make more sense to place people familiar with the area in customer facing roles. Lastly, we checked into our room Saturday afternoon and when we left the next day (late morning) the trash was in the same spot, unattended to. Both discarded items in front of various rooms and large contractor style trash bags that clearly came from Housekeeping/Janitorial staff etc. The smell and visual left little to be desired. Next time I am in Providence I would choose to stay elsewhere.

My strong recommendation - stay somewhere else in Providence. We paid $400/night for a room with a sitting area. The furniture was dirty, cheap quality, and highly uncomfortable. The bed was 2nd class quality. The bathroom was tiny like European bathrooms. The shower was cramped and only had a curtain so the water got everywhere. The hotel staff were unfriendly and didn’t seem to care about customer experience.

This hotel is a joke !front desk people don't care about to much .Our room was dirty, mold in the bathroom ,giant stain on chair in sitting area ,and the A/C was non existent . after complaining front desk did nothing! would never stay here again, we are not snobby people by as means but this place in a big zero!

I enjoyed the stay except my TV never worked. I was told I would receive a credit, but I never received it.

Upon arrival, I was greeted by the receptionist, whose demeanor was unwelcoming. There was no smile or offer of assistance with my luggage, and I received no information about the hotel itself. I stayed in the "King" room, which was advertised as spacious enough for four guests and included gourmet snacks. Unfortunately, the amenities did not meet these expectations, and I have photographic evidence to support my concerns. When I approached Jaremy, the manager, to express my disappointment, I found his response to be dismissive. He appeared disinterested and did not engage with my concerns, which made the experience even more frustrating. Additionally, in an email prior to my stay, I was encouraged to request any assistance I needed. However, when I asked for an ironing board, I was simply told to use a steamer instead. I chose your boutique hotel expecting a more personalized experience, but unfortunately, this was not the case. I hope this feedback helps improve guest experiences in the future. Thank you for your attention to these matters.

Staff was super friendly, helpful and informative. Very beautiful hotel, awesome vibe but room was very tight and small, shower experience was terrible (but pretty to look at). Perhaps for couples or business travel would have been better but wasn't the most ideal fit for my family although I wanted it to be!

The location is very central and convenient, the hotel is clean and nice and the staff is very friendly. However, the wifi didn’t actually work on the 4th floor (all three days) and the pipes in the bathroom were making quit a fair amount of noise
