We were very happy with the hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful, rooms nice and clean. The breakfast was good but could be better, especially fresh fruit salad and more bread varieties would be good. We can only recommend the Evalena. Price/performance is right.

Normal 4 star, 5-7 minutes to the beach, the rooms are not big, breakfast and dinner are not bad. Special thanks to the staff, Svetlana, Yulia and Miroslava, they always helped with questions. And special thanks to the cleaner Katerina, she never came into the room when the "do not disturb" mode was turned on, unlike others! My wish to the hotel, do something with those who meet guests at breakfast and dinner, I think they need to work in another position, since they always had gloomy faces:)

We stayed at this hotel just before it was closing for the season. It is in an ideal position and near both the town of Protoras and the sea. The hotel was clean and most staff friendly and professional. We stayed on a half board basis and this is where we had problems. It is probably some of the worst food we have encountered in a hotel. Never hot, just about served warm both at breakfast and in the evening. One of us was a vegetarian, and on asking the head chef what the menu could offer at dinner, the reply was " we always have about 5-6 choices available. He pointed out carrots, mushrooms, potatoes, rice and chips as the choices. Surely in this day and age catering staff understand what a vegetarian main dish is. Not just vegetables! The only main dishes that could be classed as vegetarian was pasta an 3 nights. This was never not and I had to ask the staff to reheat it in the microwave several nights. The other guests, who were paying the same hotel prices, had a large selection of meat and fish choice, all be it never hot. We also believe that the hotel should provide a sanitize hand station before using the buffet as everyone was using the same serving tools. We would love to return to The Evalena Hotel but the food service would prevent us.

The property was overall great ! Great location. Great breakfast options and great food locations.
My only issue was the size of the room. Little small but overall is was nice. I would definitely recommend !

The hotel itself was very nice. Kept very clean and very convenient for the town centre. We had a room on the top floor with a sea views ( fabulous). Now for the not so fabulous we found the beds to be little hard, the entertainment wasn’t brilliant but that could be because it was coming towards the end of the season. But my biggest gripe was with the food I know we are bit fussy when it comes to food but there wasn’t a very good selection on offer but my main gripe was it wasn’t very hot in fact some items were almost cold. So for this fact alone I don’t think we will return.

Location is good . Quite noisy though as rooms very close to each other
Rooms average and wifi in rooms very poor . Bottle of water provided in the room, on arrival only !! It’s a bit mean as water is very cheap
I booked a massage in the hotel spa. When I arrived I was greeted by a lady , who escorted ne into the room and asked me to undress. She started the massage . She left the room a couple of times - I assumed to get something. When I was asked to turn over , I was shocked to find that the masseuse was a MAN. Change of hands took place without my knowledge and consent. When I complained to the lady she was unapologetic and said she was busy at reception . No remorse was exhibited . I also companies to hotel reception staff who were largely unbothered. As a woman I feel violated - at lack of transparency and remorse . Absolutely shocking

Very clean and comfortable modern room. Lovely breakfast with lots of choice. Friendly staff. Beach bar food and cocktails very good. Great coastal location.
