Hotel Meda of Museum Kampa

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel in Aprile, contenti che il rapporto qualità prezzo fosse veramente ottimo. Purtroppo le camere non erano come descritte nelle foto: moquette vecchissima e pavimento scricchiolante, finestre in legno con gli spifferi, lampadine del comodino che non si accendevano... per non parlare del bagno, rimasto a 50 anni fa. L'acqua calda ci mette una vita per arrivare e ci sono in dotazione solo due asciugamani. La colazione dura fino alle 10.30, peccato che alle 9.15 i dolci erano tutti finiti, e il cappucino della macchinetta allungato con l'acqua. Personale poco empatico, un po come tutti in zona. Ascensore ballante. Se dovessi tornare a Praga andrei altrove, nonostante l'ottima posizione della struttura.

Senza infamia e senza lode.. camera molto basic ma pulita. Colazione scarsa . Receptionist poco accogliente ma abbastanza tipico del posto quello che fa guadagnare tanto e l’ottima posizione!!! Comoda la metto che in 15 minuti ti porta in centro! Supermercato sotto l’hotel aperto 7/22

English version: Before you book a stay in this hotel, please take the time to read my account my splendid experience! With a friend, I would have booked a stay from 06.09-08.09.2023 at Hotel Meda. Emphasis on would have! We made our booking on 26 December 2022 for a relatively affordable price of €104,04. On 27 June 2023, however, an incredibly pleasant surprise awaited us. (Exclusively) in Czech (thanks to Google Translate we know what the message contained), we were told that an error had occurred in the system and that our room (which we had already booked half a year ago) was now no longer available. Whether this could be related to the fact that the rooms were now offered for a significantly higher price shortly before our stay and possibly given to other bookers, I will leave open. Instead, we were offered to stay in another hotel - with a definitely less convenient location further away from the city centre - at no extra cost! Great! We refused and since this date (27 June 2023) I have been trying unsuccessfully to get a refund for my booking. As this inconvenience is on behalf of the hotel, one would expect considerable effort and assistance: Either I received no response at all to my increased enquiries, or I could enjoy short messages like this one: "Hello, The price of the accomodation [sic!] will be refunded, please cancel the reservation here on Booking and send us your bank account number, IBAN and SWIFT code. With regards [...], Hotel Meda" (09 June 2023) As a response, I noted that there would be a cancellation fee of €96.04 on *********** and that I would therefore - what a surprise! – rather not do so. Unfortunately, the messages that my request had been forwarded do not really improve the situation or matter either - when after more than a month I am still waiting for my refund after multiple enquiries and vain attempts. To all people who are contemplating booking a stay at this hotel: if you would like to be informed that your room is no longer available half a year after your booking, and you would love to invest a lot of time and effort in possibly somehow getting your money refunded - then let me assure you that you have found the perfect accommodation for you! Hopefully my review will both help you make the right decision and prevent you from finding yourselves in a similar situation. - Deutsche Version: Bevor ihr einen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel bucht, nehmt euch bitte die Zeit meine Schilderung der Erfahrungen, die ich machen durfte, zu lesen! Mit einer Freundin hätte ich einen Aufenthalt vom 06.09-08.09.2023 im Hotel Meda gebucht. Betonung auf hätte! Unsere Buchung betätigten wir am 26.12.2022 für einen relativ erschwinglichen Preis von €104,04. Am 27.06.2023 erwartete uns jedoch eine höchst erfreuliche Überraschung. Bella struttura, vicinissima al centro di Praga ed alle sue molteplici attrazioni! Metro verde a 4 min, fermata di vari tram a 3 minuti... se prendete il 20 o il 22 potete raggiungere ,come pure con la metro, il 119 che vi porta in aeroporto... la stanza è ampia e pulita, il personale musone e fatica a salutare ma compensa il posto ed il servizio ... camera pulita, con frigobar.. possibilità di lasciare i bagagli prima del check in e dopo il ceck out senza costi aggiuntivi ! L'unico neo la colazione è che per noi ITALIANI è immangiabile! Di fronte però trovate italian wine food spettacolare... cornetto e capuccuo meglio di molte pasticcerie italiane rinomate! Insomma ragazzi Hotel Meda forever.... accorrete e non ve ne pentirete! A prestooo

+ Bardzo miła pani na recepcji. Atrakcyjna cena. - Według mnie hotel absolutnie nie zasługuje na 4 gwiazdki. W większości 3 gwiazdkowych hoteli w których spałem były lepsze niż ten. Przydało by się odświeżyć trochę pokoje. Na 1 noc ok, ale dłużej bym zostać nie chciał.

Hotel Meda of Museum Kampa – ein 4* Hotel. Das Zimmer war genug groß. 3x Bett, obwohl 1xDoppelbett und 1xEinzehl Bett bestätigt wurde. Egal. Die Fenster und Tür waren uralt. Sonst war das Zimmer renoviert. Wir haben nur 2x Handtuch erhalten, aber für die eine Nacht ausreichend. Der Schnellwasserkocher war kaputt, der versprochene Tausch erflogt nicht. Ich musste früh nochmal ansprechen, obwohl wir schon auschecken sollen. Das Frühstück war ausreichend. Jeder konnte sich auswählen. Der Parkplatz direkt vor dem Hotel gefunden. WIFI extrem schnell. Nur 50CZK für die 16h gekostet (am Wochenende kostenlos). Der Personal war nett.
