What a Unique Place to stay. It’s actually the old courthouse of town and they kept all the old furniture and other stuff that you just don’t see every day. At the same time the place has great wifi, A/C, rain shower, Apple TV… The bed was super comfortable and the included breakfast was legit. It’s about a 10 minute ride from the ferry to comox, and all the other restaurants, wal mart etc. Would definitely come back and stay here again.

Our second stay at beach gardens this year. This time around we had our daughter with us. She loved the beach and the room. We always try to get the same suite. This time around I was however a little annoyed with the front desk. I always use Visa Debit. For everything. I don’t have credit cards. They told me this time around that their debit machine doesn’t do refunds so I had to give them the entire deposit in cash and that their ATM was broken.. lucky for them I had $500 on me. I wondered what would have happened if I didn’t? And then they changed the TV’s to a ROKU system which is fine but I couldn’t get it to work. I asked for someone to come help me out and no one ever showed up. I called down many times after but no one picked up once. It was well before 9pm so I was annoyed. I finally got the ROKU to work but their wifi doesn’t work well enough to have it properly work. With a little bit of love this hotel could be 5 stars.

Basic hotel but absolutely has everything you need; owners are kind, and the diner downstairs is so cute - loved sitting with my coffee getting work done during breakfast on my bar stool in the sun! Comfortable king size bed, basic amenities, big TV, and while yes, the room could use aesthetic upgrades (in the bathroom, new tub/tiling, carpets, furniture), it has everything you need. For the price, what else can you expect? If you want fancy looks and and iphone chargers, expect to pay double.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and it was quiet. I stayed at the hotel for almost 2 weeks and I found the customer service was much better than I have seen at more expensive hotels. Thanks Manveer for making my stay enjoyable!

We stayed here for one night during a week-long British Columbia road trip. First, the view from our suite was spectacular: from our large, picture-frame windows, we could see the crystal blue Georgia Strait and the green, green mountains of Texada Island. The suite was spacious (2 bedrooms, a good-sized bathroom, a kitchen, dining room, living room, and a porch), relatively clean, modern (open-ish floor plan with tall ceilings), conveniently located, quiet, and filled with light during the day. We didn't know what to expect given that it's above a grocery store, but we were pleasantly surprised. Another plus is that it has a free in-unit washer and dryer, which was very helpful. My only complaints are that some of the dishes in the kitchen were dirty, the couch could be more thoroughly vacuumed (the crevices had crumbs), and there were a few tiny flies inside (a previous guest may have left the door open and let them in). But those complaints pale in comparison to the all the positives. This place is a steal, and we would recommend staying here.
