Hotel Challis Potts Point

The hotel cost more than HK$600 per night, the room was tidy, but 1) The bed is not long enough (I am 170cm tall) 2) The room is extremely small (although I knew it was a small bed before booking, in fact the entire room was unacceptably small). When the door is opened, the door will touch the bed. (As shown in the picture) The picture was taken from the toilet at the end of the room, which reflects that the room is really small. 3) I stayed for two nights, but there was no room cleaning service 4) Called all service hotlines at 9:00 pm but no one responded 5) Asked if toothpaste was available and was told that you can buy it at Woolworth supermarket. 6) The location is 22 minutes away from St James station. It is not convenient because you have to climb uphill on the way. 7) The soundproofing of the room was quite poor. One night, my wife and I were disturbed by people talking outside at 3:00am. We couldn't sleep for an hour after that. To sum up: the room is clean and the facilities are acceptable. But the room is too small; service and sound insulation need to be improved. There is no character ratio that a 4 star hotel should have.

The original Chalis old house was transformed into a hotel and a B&B. It has a beautiful appearance. We were assigned to the first floor. The room was compact and the bathroom was even smaller. The location is good. It is a busy area. It takes more than ten minutes to walk to the subway entrance.

The room is simple and comfortable. The Chinese-speaking beauty at the front desk was very nice and explained the parking arrangements in detail. Seeing that I couldn't take it all at once, they even helped deliver my luggage to the hotel door. The location is very good, within walking distance of the Opera House Bridge

The room is a little small, but okay. The main reason is that the location is very good, there are many restaurants nearby, and just down the hill is the Sydney Naval Base.
