HSP and especially the service was the finest I have ever experienced. We were treated like royalty. It was a special family event and everyone at HSP went all out! What an amazing experience. Everything went far better than expected, which does not happen very often . We spent 2 nights ( not enough) August 29-31 Boat transfer from Positano port to Il San Pietro was quick and and welcoming. Staff at the check in was excellent. We were lucky to get upgraded which considering hotel was full , was not expected. The property is a short distance from Positano with beautiful view or the Positano. Being located on the hilltop gives you Panasonic views of the surroundings from everywhere.The property is very well kept and staff at front desk, beach , beach restaurant, pool , bits and bites , at the restaurant and at the parking area and exit were all outstanding. We love swimming in the sea and because of our age we dread going up and down the stairs to get to the beach. Having an elevator going down to the beach was a blessing. Staff at the beach club were very attentive and very helpful. We had a chance to try some amazing cocktails. The beach restaurant Carolina was serving some great food for lunch and dinner with breathtaking views. We were leaving the best for the last. The GM of the property is amazing. Andrea Zana is the best GM ever . He was everywhere greeting his guest from morning to night and helping them with A to Z. He made us feel like we are part of his family. No wonder rest of the staff in the property has same positive attitude. We are definitely going back. Recommend it without any reservations.

As we did last year, we were fortunate enough to spend some days here with our daughter recently. There are not enough superlatives to describe this place. The rooms are supremely comfortable and immaculately maintained, the food is wonderful,and the setting,design,and sheer beauty of the hotel and its gardens is unique.. You simply walk into Paradise. I think to understand the reason this hotel is in a class of its own,one needs to go back to the vision and spirit of the man who created it over 50 years ago. Carlo Cinque was determined to create somewhere that paid homage to its roots ,whilst providing an oasis of beauty,calm,and comfort. He ensured every detail was perfect, from the theatre of the huge terrace to the design of every bedroom.This was a true labour of love. But, more than that,he placed people at its centre . The guests were to be treated as family,and the fact that so many return whenever they can shows that this still holds true.The staff were, and are,also family. It is surely no coincidence that so many of them have worked there since they were teenagers.The warmth they give to every guest is genuine,for they are indeed old friends. It is this continuity,this ethos of harmony and kindness,that set this hotel apart.It is not something that can be manufactured, and I suspect that it cannot be found anywhere else. So huge thanks to Andrea,and to everyone working with him,for keeping the spirit of this magical place alive. And thank you,Carlo, .

The San Pietro is a very, very special place. The rooms, setting and facilities are the height of luxury and comfort - but even more than that, there is a genuine warmth that runs throughout the hotel. Andrea and all of his team work tirelessly to create the perfect experience for all guests, with an authentic personal touch. It truly is a little slice of heaven. My parents and I just returned from a few wonderful days and we cannot wait to return. Grazie mille.

As a family we traveled to Positano for a week. We chose Il San Pietro based on reviews we had seen. We were not disappointed. Everything was absolutely perfect! We had booked 3 rooms in total and each and every room was lovely. The facilities were beautiful!!!! The service was impeccable. You MUST stay here and enjoy!!! We will certainly be back!!!!!
