It's about a 10-minute walk uphill and up stairs from the ferry dock to the hotel, but it was a really pleasant trip thanks to the beautiful view and friendly front desk. The view from the terrace was also very pretty, and it was cleaned every day, so it was very clean.

Annex: Far, big and old, but cheap, with two bedrooms, a living room and a dining room, enough for a family of five. But the room is a little bit old and a little far from the main store, it takes 7 or 8 minutes to walk.

Alcione really delivered on a unique, quality, and memorable experience. We were in the two bedroom apartment which is situated higher up the street in Positano, conveniently away from the tourist areas. Views were stunning and the apartment was spacious. Margherita and other staff were absolutely lovely and attentive. This was top notch all around.

We had an AMAZING stay at Alcione Residence in Positano! My husband and I spent 4 days/3 nights in a Superior Room. The space was very clean and had all the amenities necessary (including coffeemaker, mini fridge, towels, safe, steamer). We LOVED the large balcony that was part of our room. We spent every morning and evening sitting on the patio and taking in the breathtaking views of Positano. Margherita was incredibly helpful with answering all my questions (via email) leading up to our stay along with any questions after our arrival. She was very pleasant and made the check in/out process easy. There was a porter available to help carry our suitcases upstairs to our room. It was an easy walk from the hotel into the main area of Positano where you can spend time shopping, eating or on the beach. My husband and I both agreed that Positano and our stay at Alcione was the best part of our 10 day Italy trip. We cannot wait to return in the future and would highly recommend Alcione to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Positano!!

we paid an expensive price for the junior suite but the huge terrace with views all over positano is unique and extraordinary. the location is best. you can arrive to the hotel by car. the staff are friendly. the hotel doesn't have a lift and you must climb stairs (they help you with the luggage). the hotel doesn't have public places and there is no breakfast ( you can eat easily at very close places).

I felt the room was a bit outdated. The shower and sink were backing up in master bedroom bath. I reported that. Overall it was nice. I loved the beach towels they let us use. I also loved and went to the mountain top restaurant by car we went too. That was awesome but we did had to wait for all the people we drove with plus another guest to finish dinner before we could leave to get our ride back, no one told us that!

We had the most wonderful wonderful experience at the Alcoine residence. Both margarita and Marta went above and beyond to make our stay even more enjoyable. The room was incredibly clean, very big exactly like the photos. The view of Potano was absolute perfection and the hospitality above everything else made our very special trip even more memorable we are very thankful for them For all of their kindness and care. We will certainly be recommending this hotel to all of our friends and family as well as others who are looking for a place to stay in Positano and in the Amalfi Coast we are very thankful and appreciative. Looking forward to going back soon.
