Sono stato con la mia famiglia in questo hotel agli inizi di luglio. Hotel con potenzialità ma molto trascurato, camera con terrazza vista mozzafiato ma vecchia e sporca, non oscurata per cui il sole alle 4.30 svegliava tutti!!!! Assurdo. All’arrivo abbiamo dovuto chiedere una pulizia supplementare ma a poco è servito (la signora delle pulizie non ha a disposizioni aspirapolvere ma solo scope…) Le camere hanno bisogno di manutenzione, nella nostra la doccia e gli accessori del bagno erano cose vecchie e trascurate che io non ho mai visto nelle strutture in tanti anni di viaggi. Ho chiesto al direttore di cambiare camera ma purtroppo sia la svogliatezza che la impossibilità di potervi porre rimedio hanno avuto il sopravvento. Colazione tutto sommato sufficiente in giardino con vista eccezionale ma erba incolta e formiche l’hanno fatta passare in secondo piano. Prezzo altissimo per il servizio. Vado a Positano tutti gli anni da più di 20 anni - mai una cosa di questo tipo. Se non si ha voglia di fare turismo meglio lasciare agli altri.

My stay at Hotel Dimora Fornillo was perfect in every way. The hotel was ideal—conveniently located near the Fornillo beach. Just a 5-minute walk to the beach via stairs. The check-in process was seamless, with warm, professional staff who made me feel instantly welcome. Moreover, staff was incredibly attentive providing help whenever needed. The service was top-notch! My room was cozy and had breathtaking sea view from its terrace. Having breakfast at the hotel’s yard was a highlight. Enjoying breakfast with such a beautiful view was truly amazing. The breakfast buffet was simple, but very delicious. I’ll absolutely be back—and recommending it to anyone heading this way.

We loved Hotel Dimora Fornillo. The hotel was adorable and is a perfect spot to take advantage of the beach club. They helped us with reservations to Chic Mama (which was an insanely fun experience). Also it really felt like visiting family because Franco and the staff were so helpful and sweet. The wifi was pretty spotty but honestly not a big deal because it forced you to enjoy the views. Make sure that we pay for the porters to bring your bags to the hotel. The 15 euros per bag sounds like a lot but it will save you a lot of pain.

The views from this hotel are amazing. Lot of steps to get there, but there are porters that you can hire to get your baggage to your room. We spent 4 nights in Positano, so there were a lot of steps over the course of our stay. Would probably only stay 3 days if I had it to do over again! The room was just as depicted on the web site. I actually got a bigger balcony room than I was expecting. Breakfast was served at the outdoor area of the hotel. Lovely area. Breakfast was certainly adequate. You can order (for a small fee) other breakfast items like omelets. The reception area had a stocked refrigerator with beer/wine/drinks that you could bring up to your room. 972 Euro for 4 nights. Very affordable.

Had an amazing five night stay at Hotel Dimora Fornillo. The views from the terrace and the garden were absolutely stunning. The easy access to Fornillo beach, the town centre, and many delicious restaurants were a huge benefit. Everyone at the hotel was super friendly and helpful. Could not recommend this place enough if you are looking for a place to stay in Positano.

My boyfriend and I had an amazing trip. Franco was amazing. He carried our luggage for us with all the stairs. Breakfast was so good and not the usual continental breakfast. They took our order and made it. The other staff were all just as friendly and welcoming. I also feel like we had the best view in Positano

Overall, we were happy with our stay at this quaint little hotel. After doing a lot of research, I knew I wanted us to stay in Positano which was absolutely the best decision for us. I was persuaded by previous reviews of this hotel, along with the excellent price for the space of our room (we booked deluxe terrace room) and the hotel’s location. The location was excellent - spectacular views, tranquil setting, close proximity to Fornillo beach and pleasant walk to Spiagga Grande and the town centre (it should go without saying that you need to be prepared for walking up and downhill). We enjoyed our daily breakfast in the hotel garden. Service was always professional and prompt. We found the bathroom and especially shower small for us, however, we were expecting that going in. Also, I wish I brought my travel kettle as there wasn’t one available in the room. All in all, a wonderful week here.

I stayed here for one night with my mam after taking the ferry from Naples. We absolutely loved it! The views were stunning, and the service exceeded our expectations. Franco was incredibly kind and attentive, he made sure we felt truly welcome and completely comfortable throughout our stay. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, which made it even more enjoyable. Everything was spotless, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting. We only wish we could’ve stayed longer!
