This hotel is in a prime location- one flight of stairs up from the beach. With all the stairs in Positano, being able to get from the beach to our room in 2 minutes was incredible. The included breakfast was great and we enjoyed it every day in the outdoor dining area. The only downside was the air conditioning- it requires the room key to be in the room, so it is off all day while you are gone- with the summer weather in Italy, the room was sweltering when we got back every day!

Buca Di Bacco exceeded our expectations! The location is great, and the views are amazing! The room was larger than expected, extremely clean with comfortable beds. The staff is warm, welcoming and helpful. The daily breakfast has a good variety, and the waitstaff are pleasant. Highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel Buca di Bacco was everything we hoped for—central location, easy beach access, and incredible views from our cozy room with a patio. The bed was super comfortable, everything was spotless, & the staff were so friendly & bbhelpful. Breakfast had a great variety, and as a lovely farewell, they even gave us a thank-you note and a bottle of wine. Romantic, charming, and truly unforgettable. We can’t wait to return!

The hotel is located in the best spot in Positano , close to every restaurant and store. Hotel and rooms are very clean , the views are breathtaking from every corner of the hotel. Breakfasts are spectacular with huge selection , restaurant offer great menu with delicious dishes. Overall the service is amazing from check in to check out they can accommodate any request , taxi , porter , outage storage if you need . Thank you Buca di Bacco for amazing time in Positano !!!

I’m extremely disappointed with the service provided, particularly by Maria and Mario, who were responsible for arranging our transportation. Despite forwarding the exact email they originally sent me, they claimed I entered the wrong address—which was simply not possible. I made it clear that I was traveling with three children, including one with special needs, and requested transportation well in advance. Yet when we arrived, stranded at the airport, there was no support or effort made to resolve the situation. We had booked three rooms, all of which were heavily infested with ants—completely unacceptable. Beyond handing over keys, there was little to no hospitality or assistance throughout our stay. If you’re only looking for a place to sleep and expect nothing more, this location may suffice. But if you value service, reliability, or basic cleanliness, I would look elsewhere.

We had the most amazing 2 night stay at Buca in May. From the minute we arrived we received the most beautiful welcome from the staff who accompanied us to stunning outdoor area for our welcome drinks. That afternoon only got better as they packed a bag with towels for us to take to beach, which in only 50m away!! Everything about this hotel is so stylish. Our room had a stunning view and was very comfortable. Breakfast is a must, the food is of the highest quality and there are lots different choices of pastries,meats,cereals,yoghurts just everything. We can not thank the staff enough for making our Positano dream come true. Our 10 year son felt very at home and so did we. We sincerely thank Danilo, Catello, Kataryna, Roberto, Giuseppe, Salvatore, MariaChiara & Mario . We hope to return very soon and see you all again 😊

Positano was high on my bucket list and my Best Friend and I finally made it there July, 2023! We chose Buca di Bacco and it was the best decision ever! Highly recommend this hotel. The staff was fantastic. The views are breathtaking. It is ideally located steps away from the beach! Plenty of shopping and amazing restaurants all around. Will definitely stay at Buca di Bacco again when I return to Positano!

The hotel, the staff (Mario- front desk, Amadou and Catello - breakfast) were just exceptional. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcomed and nothing so too much trouble for the staff to help us with. The lobby area was very clean. The rooms with their vaulted ceilings were outstanding and very spacious (for two). The bathrooms thought ever so slightly dated (but adds to the classic Italian charm) were very clean and well stocked with hotel products. The view from the balcony was out of this world- a very Positano picture postcard view. The location is very good with easy access to the beach and restaurants. Beware of the extra hidden costs to use the beach area with lounger which is not included in the hotel stay, and cost around 45€ pp. However the hotel provide beach towels which was a bonus. This hotel is a definite must stay…

Not sure how that’s not a five-star hotel from the service to the luxury of every room to the view to the location to the breakfast selection, truly mesmerizing and luxurious.
