Amazing accommodation. Beautiful friendly staff. Great food in restaurant & great breakfast. Rooms big clean & comfortable. Great water pressure in shower. The sea view rooms with balcony are spectacular and extra special at night. Bus stop right outside which takes you all the way down to town centre & then 5 min walk to beach & you take bus back up from same spot dropped you off all for $1.60 euros each way. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND & DEFINITELY GOING BACK!!

A beautiful hotel with a view of the sea. The decoration matches its name and is very artistic. Breakfast was very rich. If you are traveling by car (SITA) to Positano, remember to get off at Positano C. Nuova (the car stops at many places in positano), the closest to the hotel

Lovely hotel, helpful staff but the best part of all was the view from our room - absolutely beautiful. Pool and beach area was nice. Funicular was appreciated. Location good, away from the hustle and bustle but just a short ride into the main town. Whilst we would stay here again, and would recommend, I wouldn’t rate it 5/5 as it didn’t feel like pure luxury. Great, but not luxury.

The location of the accommodation is really great!! 👍🏻👍🏻 It's located right in front of the beach, and there's a music bar right in front of the accommodation, so you can listen to good music for free. I wonder if there is any accommodation in Positano with a better location. Air conditioning and refrigeration are both provided. It may be a bit difficult to find the entrance to the accommodation when checking in. The large yellow building is the accommodation, and the entrance is between the accommodation and the restaurant on the left side facing the accommodation. If you go through that iron door, you will find the accommodation! The host is an old lady named Rossa, and although she doesn't speak English very well, she tries to explain things as kindly and easily as possible. When I said I wanted to use porter service on the day of check-out, they made a reservation for me. I was worried because there were a lot of bad reviews, but it was really good. It was the best accommodation, so beautiful and nice. We also upgraded our room. Everyone, make your accommodation reservations :) I miss the kind rossa. Wow! My wife and I are a bit of ”fly by the seat of your pants” and booked HVF just two days before we arrived. I booked the cheapest room at the hotel and YES, the room is small, but it was more than we needed. I took a Zoom call from our small balcony and made everyone back in the states extremely jealous. I want to point out how amazing the staff was. They could not have been any friendlier and any more professional. The food was OUTSTANDING, the pool was incredible and the views are unimaginable but the staff was by far the highlight of our stay. We had no reservations for anything... we walked in with just our bags in hand and they took care of the rest. They booked our excursions, all of our restaurants and even our transfer to our Airbnb in Atrani. I know this seems like one of those reviews that sounds like maybe I'm being paid to write but I felt the need to share my heartfelt feelings about this hotel. We could only be so lucky to get a chance to stay with them again! It was killer.

We stayed in a beautiful, premium classic room at the Covo Dei Saraceni in September. The room was spacious, clean, and had the most amazing view of Positano! We loved sitting on our balcony taking in the view and we even got to see a wedding party's fireworks one night. The hotel, which is located right by the water, is close to shopping and restaurants. The breakfast, which was included, had so many options and the food was great. We received excellent service from all the staff at the hotel, from planning day trips to arranging transportation. The most outstanding service we received was provided by Rosario, the bar manager. Rosario greeted us every day with his cheerful and welcoming smile, excellent drinks and snacks, and friendly conversation. Rosario went out of his way to remember people's names and to make everyone at the bar feel special. The Covo Dei Saraceni was exceptional in every way and we highly recommend it to anyone planning a visit to Positano!

Absolutely LOVED our stay here!! The location is perfect with stunning views of Positano from our room balcony . Breakfast was great- Nice selection of breads/pastries, fruits/meats/cheeses, yogurts , and hot items (eggs, cooked meats and vegetables). Tony brought out a ham and cheese omelette for me, which was amazing! Along with delicious Italian pastries! He is such a friendly person … and goes above and beyond . Actually, the entire staff at this hotel are ALL awesome… so friendly and helpful! The housekeeping staff were great… I wish I knew the name of the young girl bc she was always so kind. Same with the gentlemen working the front desk in the evenings ! Side note: Laundry services here are reasonably priced and very fast … we were able to get all our clothes laundered during our stay. The location is excellent, 5-10min walk down to the main area of Positano… absolutely stunning views! 10000% recommend this hotel and we can’t wait to come back!

Book it! Tip: Call the hotel directly. The price when we called and inquired was lower than what was shown on 3rd party sites. The staff is excellent. I repeat -they were excellent! It rivals the best hotels in the world for its elevated service. We loved the location, and if you want an excellent view with impeccable service for dining, Il Tridente, located on the pool level deck will not disappoint . In Positano, many restaurants are on the road with cars driving by. Hotel Poseidon provides an opportunity to dine above the noise of the street; far better than other options. I traveled with my 22year old son, and we both agreed it was the best meal we had from Rome to Sorrento and everywhere in between. Our room had a huge patio balcony with two lounge chairs and a bistro table. The stroll down to the beach is easy, and the stone steps down to the beach are close by if you prefer that. The hotel is positioned on the cliffs for the morning sunrise with your coffee. It is perfect, and has the charm and elegance you want in such a historic seaside town. We drove, and they made parking easy (we just pulled up and they took care of it). If you know about driving along the Amalfi coast, you know it isn’t easy and parking is a nightmare. Hotel Poseidon made it easy. We really loved it and would have stayed longer if we weren’t locked into reservations in another town the next few days. I will be back!

We come to play in the off-season. There are not many hotels to choose from. When driving and navigating, we can only find directions. There is a one-way line in front of the door. We cannot park. The hotel stops at the designated parking lot. Hotel rooms are ok, ocean view rooms with small terraces, breakfasts are not many but they are good. It is still not recommended to live in Positano during the off-season. It is too depressed at night and there are few restaurants open. There is no one on the sea breeze on the street. Walking to the restaurant recommended by the hotel on the beach requires self-stories. It should be better to live in Almafi, and the surrounding Positano Ravello Suriento has enough time for the day to play
