Hotels with Breakfast in Port Elizabeth

The hotel location is very good. It is an old hotel in Port Elizabeth. It was the best hotel in the past. It is close to the sea. It is recommended. The hotel's breakfast is very rich and the service attitude is good.

We have stayed here many time because it is a beautiful building in an excellent location. The general staff are outstanding and the food and rooms are amazing. Unfortunately the front desk is just not the same as the rest of the experience. When I wrote in to ask for an early check in I got no reply- on my arrival I asked about this and was told because I got no reply that means it’s fine. I find this odd as I explained that we were arriving after a three part flight over 18 hours. We have stayed here at least 3 other times and my comment for each time would be pretty much the same - I feel the front desk could do better to Mach their rest of the experience.

The atmosphere at the Paxton hotel was amazing - all the staff was so friendly to me and always smiling. My dinner was also quite good, nothing extraordinary but it was warm and fresh and fast. The ocean view is really lovely and the rooms were clean and perfectly equipped. The beautiful consierge even let me stay at the pool after my checkout :)

The location is very good and the surroundings are safe. There are parking spaces. Restaurant bar, gym, pool, etc. Next to the sea. There are many places to eat nearby, and it is mainly ten minutes from the airport by car.

Really appreciated the warm welcome and information regarding both the property and local facilities. Excellent service and prompt attention when we encountered issues with the electrics - we were quickly and efficiently moved to an alternative room and were even offered a move to the Garden house. Complimentary bubbles and snacks were provided to compensate for the inconvenience.

Everything is very good. Beautiful hotel. Decent level. Heated pool! A stunning ocean view! Very diverse breakfast 5****** must have a dress and slippers to visit the spa. It's very strange that they're not there.

Fine hotel with great sea view. Dinner was good and service fine. Room was ok but might be a bit hard to get up stairs for some. Maybe there was a lift but did not find it. Pool was nice but obviously too cold in July. Conference room was ok and all in all a good stay
