Our stay at Harbour Heights was extremely enjoyable! . From the greeting we received from the reception staff on our arrival to the equally warm farewell when we left. Our  room was very comfortable & larger than your typical standard room. The bathroom well presented, the bed very comfortable bed and all other facilities in the room perfect (I was very impressed to find an iron and ironing board). We were very impressed by the breakfast and found the restaurant manager very lovely and helpful. He kept a very tight ship, ensured that everything was replenished the moment it ran out and the staff who worked with him were equally pleasant and very helpful. Pre-dinner drinks and dinner on the terrace was terrific, and what a view! The hotel as in great condition, everything looked newly updated, corridor carpets very clean, wall tiles, bathroom fittings etc., of good quality ., The hôtel was very clean and modern, whilst still retaining its original character. This was our first visit to Harbour Heights but will certainly not be our last. A most wonderful location for a short break,!

We visit regularly for a relaxing dinner or just for drinks/afternoon tea. Fabulous views, especially on a lovely summer's day. The service from Sol has always been fantastic, a lovely friendly guy, always has time to chat to customers.

We stayed for two nights and paying circa £300 a night we had high expectations. The rooms are very dated and not worth the price however the bar area and views made up for it, the setting was spectacular. Breakfast was very good but did feel a little Fawlty Towers with the wait staff where there was some plain rudeness. I appreciate that people have an off day but this was a repeated experience. Evening bar staff, very good crew and particular mention to Reece who made a fab whisky sour. As noted, downstairs was nice but the upstairs does need updating especially when charging such a premium. Overall experience is that this is a hotel taking advantage of a great location and charging a premium price across accommodation, food and drinks.

Booked for afternoon tea for my husbands birthday, confirmed by hotel with text reminder on the day. On arrival greeted and gave name for booking, chap couldn't seem to find it, but took us into the restaurant. I said that I had asked for an outside table when booking, he proceeded to tell me it was too windy outside, there were people outside and there was little wind, umbrellas up......he obviously didn't want us to go outside so we had to sit inside. There were 4 of us, and he sat us at a table laid up for 2, and then laid the table around us!! The sun was hot so 2 of us had to sit with our back to the glass roasting! We kept getting up to go outside to cool off. The cream tea arrived, no explanation or what anything was, server totally uninterested, no one came back to check ok, no one came to offer us more drinks of champagne or more tea. Wont be returning.

Just returned from an overnight stay at Harbour Heights Hotel. We arrived in time for our pre-booked afternoon tea. The lady on reception was friendly and helpful as was our waiter serving our afternoon tea which was delicious. The high point of this hotel (quite literally) is the amazing views from the terrance. The weather was glorious and it felt like we were in the South of France. The room was good, clean and the air conditioning was very welcome. The breakfast was first class but unfortunately it was slightly tarnished by the attitude of the restaurant manager. We felt embarrassed and upset by the way he spoke to his staff, I think I have seen other comments on the site giving similar feedback. His behaviour was bordering on bullying and I really feel it should be addressed. It would not stop me from returning to this wonderful hotel but perhaps it would prevent some of your restaurant staff from returning to work!

we popped in last night for drinks and the music set at dawn. the bar was very busy. i was attended by a young barman who was more interested in me buying fever tree tonic water than asking me what gin i would like - he served me bombay sapphire and i asked why would you not ask what gin i wanted. he replied “ so you don’t want bombay “ , i said you never asked but now you are asking , i will have Conkers. “ so you want me to change them”. “yes please as it is customary to ask the customer.” not being fussy but there was also a bit of attitude there for my £27 for two g&t’s

This hotel is probably one of the best all round hotels my family and I have ever stayed in. The location is to die for, overlooking the harbour and Sandbanks. The service and food were excellent, parking was easy and the nearby beach a short walk away. A true gem of a find. On top of all that the weather was perfect. Can’t guarantee the weather, but can guarantee you’ll enjoy every moment as we did. Can’t wait to go back !
