Looking for a place to spend the night while visiting a friend. Room space is up to standard and the hygiene is at par. One hiccup is during check-in, the hotel system indicated that I need to settle payment upon arrival, but in fact I have already paid up in advance. The front desk (sorry I have not asked his name) was helpful enough to sort out the problem and settled it in 5 minutes time.

The room was comfortable but unfortunately there there were many negatives on our visit. My wife was not on the booking. The self-service check-in machine did not offer a receipt neither did it inform us of our room number. We had booked a table for 4 in the restaurant and had received an email confirmation of this, the restaurant had no record of this booking. Three of us ordered the pie, there was only one pie available. My wife ordered the chocolate torte, this was also unavailable. Two of us ordered Bulmers cider, this was also out. It was very disappointing and rather chaotic with only one chef on duty on a very busy Friday evening.

For what we paid, the room was extremely comfortable, the staff attentive and self check-in very simple. However we were able to hear the occupants in the room above on the tired floorboards and water pipes knocking but this didn’t detract from the pleasant few nights we had. It’s a great central hotel for Poole suburbs, with easy access to Poole and Bournemouth.

Beware Premier inn parking at Poole North We booked in for one night and entered the correct registration of our car as we checked in which I took a pic of on the screen as this has happened to many others at Premier inns There is no one on duty as its self check in at this hotel and as regular customers we always doublemcheck the correct registration is entered Today I received a £95 parking fine from a company called Horizon Parking who it turns out manage the free parking car park for Premier Inn and for some reason issued the ticket say failer to register for the duration of the stay but we did So be extra careful when parking at a Premier inn and photograph the registration on the check in screen I rang Prmier inn but they just fob you off with the tired old its not us

To be fair, a very busy night in the restaurant, dealt with by Luiza and her colleague (Esther) with ease! The food served was at the top of the tier, you could tell everthing was cooked and prepped fresh to order(well done chef)!. At the bar we had Amy, who made you feel very welcome and keeps the cleanest bar ever, even the poor cloth gave in! Definitely be back, we'll done team.

The hotel was clean. Water was nice and hot. Staff were friendly and helpful. Big shout out to Karen in the dining room who was lovely and helpful and made our stay even better. Karen spoke kindly and was welcoming to us and our adult autistic son. Great staff - thank you.

We stayed at the Premier Inn North, Poole, for 6 nights in Jan 2025 and it was a positive experience thanks to the excellent staff. I was under a lot of stress, trying to clear my late mother's house in the area and working online at the same time. From the moment we checked in at 1.15am on a Tuesday morning (after a 10-hour drive from Scotland!) we felt welcomed and supported by the Premier Inn team. I'd specifically like to mention manager Rob who assisted with my Internet connection, room heating system and some housekeeping and maintenance issues. He was truly helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast team were also very friendly and professional, as was the lovely receptionist from Madeira who checked us in and helped us park and unload our van on Day one. Thank you to everyone at this hotel who made an emotional week a lot easier to handle!

Nice bedrooms, comfortable mattress and pillows. Very clean. Breakfast is nice and the food menu for dinner is good. A spot no too far away from everything you need. The staff are friendly and very helpful. I like it that you can ask the reception to clean your room and not get disturbed everyday day.
