El atractivo de paradores está en su ubicación y adaptación de edificios históricos, si bien no implica que la calidad de los servicios y acondicionamiento deba de adaptarse a la actualidad igual que han adaptado el coste que aplican a sus clientes.

Read about the hotel and its glorious old days. I was very excited to stay there for one night during my Camino. The hotel is old and very much needs renovations. First, start with a good. The bed was very comfortable and the space is huge for the room. However, there was mold in the bathroom and shower area. Really grossed me out. The hotel just looks very rundown. The service it’s subpar. But you cannot beat the location.There is no complementary water in the room and they charge for everything. I felt the hotel tries to nickel and dime you.Christian who checked me in was very kind and professional. He made me feel welcome. The rest of staff looks very morose and unhappy. We had a storm brewing so that may be the reason? If they claim they are the top luxury hotel chain in Spain, they need to do way way much better.

La habitación (226) está en mal estado. Una cosa es que los muebles sean antiguos y otra es que estén viejos. Viendo las fotos no hace falta más explicaciones. Pagamos 185 euros por dormir una noche. Desde luego parece más una habitación de una pensión decadente que de un PARADOR. Deberían corregir esto o "Paradores de España" perderán toda la reputación que tienen. Que si, que el edificio es muy bonito y muy bien situado, pero nada más. Desayuno bien, cogimos el ultimo turno (10:15) y a las 10:32 empieza el camarero a pasar por el medio del comedor con un carrito lleno de platos y se pone a colocarlos, el carrito muy molesto con el traqueteo y despues el ruido de los platos, coger el último turno no puede implicar que se moleste a los clientes de esa manera. Por todo eso, no lo recomiendo.

The exterior of the hotel was stately and the hotel in old in a charming way including the doors, hardwood floors, shutters and common areas. Our room was not big. The bathroom had obviously been remodeled, but was small. Service was good. The location is also good -close to a lot of restaurants and right off the Camino trail.

Buena localización en un edifico histórico No tiene ascensor lo cual es incómodo para el acceso a las habitaciones y sobre todo para el equipaje, aunque en ese aspecto el personal te ayuda a subirlo. El estilo antiguo resulta un poco demasiado sobrio a costa de una mayor comodidad

Nach den Bewertungen auf Tripadvisor hatten wir keine großen Erwartungen und waren positiv überrascht. Natürlich kann man in einem alten Gebäude keinen topmodernen Standard erwarten, aber es funktionierte alles und der Service war gut. Obwohl wir aufgrund entsprechender Empfehlungen auf Tripadvisor ein Zimmer im 4. OG hatten, war es nicht sonderlich leise und wir hatten nicht den Eindruck, dass Zimmer in anderen Stockwerken lauter gewesen wären.
