It was an incredible disappointment on Christmas Eve! I got a room without a window! The hotel description says "room with a city view"! When I asked, there was no other room available! I cancelled and demanded the full price back! But because I had apparently already checked in, I am not entitled to the full cancellation fee! Now I'm dealing directly with booking dot com! The hotel manager is a very rude and unattractive person! There was no point in arguing with him! Luckily I got a room in La Pavilion - a very nice little hotel in the "White City"! Unfortunately, you can't get through to the management by phone! Everything was very unprofessional! This hotel chain doesn't have a good reputation in general! Unfortunately, I didn't see that before!

I cancelled and demanded the full price back! Apparently I had already checked in and was therefore not entitled to the full cancellation fee! I'm still waiting for it! The manager of the hotel is a fat-bellied ***** with no education! No idea about anything! Disgusting to see how he orders his youngsters around! Luckily I ended up staying at the La Pavilion, the city was full! Treebo is taking advantage of that! The management doesn't get through on the phone either! Super unprofessional! Stay away from the hotel chain!!!

Lovely stay in spacious clean room that stays refreshingly cool even with AC off while you're out. Tasty breakfast, idly & dosa served daily. The location is great for walk to beach but has some bad smells nearby at times. Manager who checked us in was very observant & kind. Made sure all was taken care of from start to finish of our stay.

We enjoyed the Treebo Grace Inn. Clean and well-run with breakfast included. Great location for exploring Pondicherry. The nearby canal may smell a little sometimes during the year (when walking outside - not in the hotel). But we’re used to India.
