I am writing this on our last day at this hotel. We are a family of 4 with 2 children aged 9 and 14. We have had the most amazing family holiday and cannot find fault with anything. The staff are all so hard working and friendly. Food and drink is perfect especially the cocktails which are amazing. The children have particularly enjoyed the snack bar at lunch time and we have found the food in the main restaurant the best that we have ever had from an All Inclusive. The animation team work extremely hard and we have enjoyed the shows in the evening. The pools are beautiful and the children have especially enjoyed the semi Olympic and indoor pools. I would whole heartedly recommend this hotel to anybody and we hope to return!

Spent 7 days at the resort from 4th August to 11th August. They say first impression counts, well my first impression was not too good. We have arrived at the hotel at around 1.30pm, went straight to the reception, no hello, welcome, nothing. Young girl at the reception took our names, gave us the bracelets and told us to come at 3pm. They are very strict with the check in, didn't even check if the room was available. We didn't think it was a problem as we knew check in was at 3pm, it was the attitude of the person at the reception. She came across very uninterested and quite bored of having to deal with another holiday maker. We returned at 3pm, gave us our room card and no more then three words, apart from ''go this way''. So not a great start! She could have at least say have a nice holiday, hope you enjoy your stay, anything. Even if you say thank you, they say nothing back. You are welcome would be nice. Anyways, opened our room and it was spotlessly clean, very spacious, lovely walk in wardrobe and a mini fridge fully stocked. However, we had a problem with hundreds of mosquitos on the balcony, so we couldn't open the balcony on our first day/night. Even the netting didn't help, mosquitos were trying to get in through the gap. We did report it to the reception and they said no problem, they will send someone to look at it. The next day there were signs everywhere telling people that they will be spraying the whole area against the mosquitos. They did, and we had no problem for the rest of our stay. Most of balconies have bird nests in them, so expect a lot of bird droppings. Apart from not the best start, we did have a great holiday. The whole resort is beautifully designed, we didnt mind that it was isolated, it suited us perfectly. Appreciated the heated pool, as rest were too cold for me. Food was very good and plenty of it. I didn't even know that you could cook rice or potatoes in so many different ways. Definitely took some inspiration with me. Breakfast were the most enjoyable as it wasnt too busy. Lunch and especially dinners very hectic, some local people were a bit too loud for my liking, with one local man even putting his bare feet on the table, his young son followed him and did the same later on. It put me off of eating, had to leave dinner earlier. Kids running around helping themselves, spilling and dropping food on the floor as parents were too busy either on their phones or having a good time with other adults. I wish parents accompanied their kids and help them with their food. I must praise all the cleaners, staff at the restaurant, bars, gardeners, entertainment team and security guys. Everyone works very hard, always saying hello with a smile. The resort itself is very clean, as soon as someone drops the food on the floor, cleaners are there within few seconds and clean it up. Entertainment team would never pass you without saying hello. Very friendly and not too pushy to join in if you didn't fancy. But I must also

Visited August 2025. Family of 4 with children aged 15 and 13. Overall a lovely stay. Positives were the rooms were really spacious. I booked a family room with 2 bathrooms and children had their own room/balcony and bathroom so lots of space and ample wardrobe space. Maid did a great job too. Also no sunbed issues here. Didn’t have to get up early and plenty around at a reasonable hour so more relaxing. Plenty of activities available if you want them and the entertainment team all do a great job (a special mention for Kiko.) Really liked the Wave bar both day and evening. A nice vibe. A trip to Nessebar very worth while. Lovely place for a walk round with history, shops and restaurants. Really enjoyed it. Other than that hotel is on its own and nowhere to walk to. Everything is there you need though. The Bulgarian restaurant we really enjoyed and food was lovely. Only disappointing thing was the food for me. Not the best in the buffet. The main issue was a lot of it was cold. Omelettes were pre made in the morning. Scrambled eggs and bacon very over cooked. No fresh croissants- just small hard ones. Great variety of food but would personally rather have less choice and better quality. The children were happy with the food though, particularly the snack bar and it wouldn’t put me off returning. Drinks were good , both soft and alcoholic. Overall a lovely stay and an easy holiday!

More common sense from staff and management needed. Weather not great tonight so the entertainment has been moved indoors from the beach bar. Lobby bar closes at 11pm which is fine when entertainment is located outside but considering everybody is indoors tonight they have still shut the bar at 11pm with everybody being told to walk down to the beach to get a drink. Where are the staff from the beach bar tonight because they could have come to man the indoor bar instead of just standing around doing nothing at the beach. Just tried to speak to the bar manager about it but as usual the staff do not care and just shrugged his shoulders was not interested and walked off. Staff are very rude in this hotel and will not return to this hotel again just down to fact the staff are not welcoming what so ever Lots more to say but will leave that for another day.

We absolutely loved our time at this hotel. Chek-in was very quick. We arrived early in the afternoon, so we had a couple of hours to wait before we could access our room. We were able to access all amenities, though. We had a junior suite at the corner of the left wing. It was very spacious, and we had great views of the entire complex. The shower is separate from the toilet, and there are 2 sinks just outside. The wardrobe space wasn't quite enough for 4 people, but it wasn't an issue for us. The safe is situated on the bottom shelf. There is a large bed, and the sofa forked the 2 other beds. Our kids are 8, so there was plenty of space for them to stretch out. The room was very clean, and the mini bar was refilled as required. The room is open plan, bar the toilet and shower cubicles, so I dont think I'd book that room when my kids are older as there wasn't much privacy when getting changed. The buffet restaurant was kept very clean. The tables, floors, and serving areas are constantly cleared of food. There was a wide variety of food served at every meal, but it didn't vary too much from night to night. All food was very well cooked. The restaurant caters more for German and Eastern European guests, but I took it as an opportunity to sample foods I wouldn't normally eat. One of my kids regularly found difficulty finding food he could eat he could eat and usually ended up with pizza, pasta, and chips on his plate. There was one night when several children were wandering around with plain pasta and chips on their plates, so he wasn't the only one struggling. Chicken nuggets were served one night, and the queue was huge and contained both adults and children. We didn't use the other restaurants. The snack bar is situated just outside the buffet restaurant and from 10 onwards has a selection of sandwiches, muffins, doughnuts, yoghurt, tea, coffee, soft drinks and lager. The bars all had a decent selection of drinks. Teas and coffees are served from them as well. There is a decent cocktail list. Only the indoor bar makes them from scratch as the rest seemed to have pre-made cocktails. Staff took requests from guests or gave suggestions for cocktails not on the menu, which was good. As is common abroad, there was no diluting juice; only carbonated juice or fruit juice for children. There are a lot of seating areas throughout the hotel where guests can sit with a drink or snack. Areas such as the outdoor balcony fill up quickly. The pool bar fills up quickly at night because the mini disco is held there, and it is beside the theatre where shows are performed. There is a quieter bar just before the beach, which has live music until curfew. The pool area is huge, and sunbeds are plentiful. The cushioned beds were mostly all reserved by 9 am, but several remained. Very few sunbeds were reserved by half 7/8 and at 10 am one day, I could see from my balcony that over 80 remained free. Sunbeds were available throughout the day, often 2, 3 in a

Travelled as a couple but part of a larger group inc kids/teens. Hotel is modern (build 2019), extremely clean and has friendly staff. Pool areas are great with a massive central pool, 16+ pool/area, activity pool and four water slides/ aqua area. There is also a spa with internal pool and Jacuzzi. One buffet restaurant, three à la carte and food court. Four bars - main building, pool, food court and beach bar. I cannot fault the staff for their readiness to help or the cleanliness of the hotel. The food in the à la cartes were really good but after a couple of weeks the buffet becomes a little boring which too much pork and fish options (personal opinion as I don’t eat them). I would also be careful with the labelling sometimes as some key ingredients were omitted which could cause a problem. Also kids switched some signs which I am sure was funny for them but ….!! The entertainment team was very proactive and friendly and I think had a good balance of asking you to join them and no hassling if you just wanted to chill. My main issue with the hotel is the drinks. The positives are that you can help yourself to beer on tap, wine and spirits along with soft drinks in the buffet. However, if you asked for a bottle of water they would never give cold water unless you specifically asked. When 30c+ everything should be cold. Also their cocktails are not very good with the exception of Expresso Martini but this, for some unknown reason, isn’t served in the beach bar. Evening entertainment we never went to the 9pm shows so cannot comment on these. We did go to the beach bar for the 10.15pm shows which were mainly signers. Generally they were enjoyable with one main exception - a Robbie Williams act who had appeared on Bulgaria X Factor but he was truly awful but he thought he was a star! Would we go back to Bulgaria, definitely. Would we go back to Waves probably but not for a few years to see if there is any improvements. We enjoyed our time there and I’m sure you will, especially if you are a family. It could be so much better with some small changes though.

Wow - where to start? Put simply - if you want a top quality hotel with great food/drinks and amazing staff then this is the place for you. Absolutely nothing to fault - it's that good. The natural mud bath and salt lake by the sea was a hidden gem. A bonus was the 12 minute journey from Borgas airport.

Where do I start! The food is amazing, top quality with lots of choices, we didn’t go to the al a carte as the main restaurant was so good! Lots of drinks options too, my only negative comment would be only 1 diet drink, but it didn’t spoil things too much we drank beer instead!! Rooms are really lovely, we got a fountain view which is lovely, however my daughter got road/baron land view which was a shame. The beds are super comfy, with all toiletries provided and great power shower. The fridge is stocked daily with drinks & chocolate. The snack bar around the pool does the best noodles!!! Plus the late snack bar has gorgeous sandwiches & cake we’ve loved all the food, and don’t think we’ve ever been to a hotel with such a variety. Lots of activities everyday around the pool, and the entertainment team work very very hard and are lovely and friendly. The kids disco is great, plus lots of shows in the amphitheatre. The beach bar was fantastic in the evening and the various acts they’re really great! Loved the Elvis tribute act that was good fun. The foam party was a great hit with all our party loving it. The weather has been good, not as hot as many places in July but that made it better for the little one in our group, no burning. We didn’t use the spa but it looked lovely. The kids pool has mini slides and a fun water spray area. The bigger slides are great, but should not close down in the middle of the day at the height of the season when lots of kids wanted to play on them. The kids park is also ok mainly for smaller kids. The reception staff came across a little abrupt on one occasion when we needed their help, that was a shame as all the other staff so friendly. We found their English wasn't great, which surprised us, as there did seem to be lots of English guests. The fountain show each night was unique and well worth a watch! The arcade was fun, and the zorbing was good and priced reasonably. The adults area was very quiet with a nice jacuzzi, it did lack a bit of atmosphere we thought so we sat in the kids area which was always upbeat and fun. Would we come again! 100% although jet 2 have it priced way higher next year so that could be a deal breaker. To finish yes there was a couple of negatives, but lots and lots of positives, hence my 5 stars, this hotel really does have it all!!
