Enjoyed our stay. Coffee machine was a nice surprise. Recommended.

I am very fussy when it comes to apartments on holiday, but this hotel exceeded our expectations. We stayed self catering and the room was spacious, clean and modern. We had a ground floor garden room and it was lovely and easy access to a quieter pool. The mini market was very convenient and had everything we needed for breakfasts, including fresh bread and delicious pastries. We ate breakfast at the restaurant on the last day and the choice of food was great. We also ate at the pool bar at lunch and it was great value for money and great food. The cocktails at the bar were good and good value for money too. The staff across the whole hotel were lovely, warm and great with our 3 year old. They made us feel welcome and they were very helpful. The hotel was busy but it never felt crowded as it has so much space and land around it. The position of the hotel is on the quiet side but it was nice being away from the main port, which felt a lot more crowded. Great position for going to see other places such as both old towns. The walk to the beach is not too far and we did this with a pram most days. We had a late flight and the hotel allowed us to use the spa showers to get ready, which was very clean and a great space to sort ourselves before our flight. Someone has mentioned ants, they are around the garden pool but this is something I’ve seen in most hotels in Europe, it didn’t bother us in the slightest. All in all, this hotel and area was delightful and we would 100% book to go back again in the future.

You truly can't judge a book by it's cover....at simple glance, one would expect this establishment to be a 4 star hotel. The reviews are stellar. Reviews are subjective and I respect opinion and find myself often being influenced to book on strong endorsements. Club Del Sol seemed like that kind of place. However, we spent 4 nights back in July. We had ground floor and two units. It was the "garden" district they informed me at check in. The most horrifying aspect of our stay were the colonies of ants that invaded rooms 105 and 106. I noticed the first day. It got worse the second. But by the third night when they were in my master bedroom biting my wife's leg and in the bed, I said enough was enough. I had to complain. I was generously offered one room next to mine and thank goodness we stayed there for peace of mind. The other suggestion was to purchase interior bug spray insecticide and that was my choice to spray as the hotel could not do that. They sold it in the small gift shop. The other alarming aspect was the abundance of wasps around the small pool. There is a pole that is exposed and just hundreds of wasps flying out of there and around the pool and by the units we were in. Yet, nobody else has mentioned this in the reviews I have read in our subsequent weeks away from Club Del Sol. Did the staff lack compassion here? The hotel was at full capacity. A manager wasn't on staff. I took a business card and haven't wrote the manager but I have nightmares of the stay and I can't, of good consciousness, offer the endorsement that I rely on and appreciate. Charging a 10 euro deposit on pool towels irked me. That's not 4 star treatment. No air conditioning in the gym irritated me. The debacle of your day in finding Mallorca Cab being inconsistent in terms of pickup times is challenging. All in all, know that there is another side to every story and the same applies to reviews. I'm not out to malign the establishment, as much as to get this off my chest as my family experience did not match the hundreds of positive reviews I have read about Club Del Sol and I still am in disbelief at how disappointed I was with our stay.

Delighted with our stay at Club del Sol resort & Spa. All of the staff were absolutely brilliant. The staff in the dining room and pool bar/restaurant were particularly fantastic. We traveled with a challenging toddler, there was lots for him to do. I was really impressed with the quality and variety of the food. We have already recommended this resort to friends and would be likely to go back.

Fantastic holiday at Club Del Sol. Everything about this hotel is fantastic, including: - the best holiday breakfast buffet I’ve ever had - cleanliness of the rooms and the shared spaces around the hotel & pool - the fantastic staff, all exceptionally friendly, helpful and adding to the holiday experience. - the gym and spa; both excellent with really nice and personable staff In particular, I’d like to call out the following staff: Alberto and Ariant (and the 3rd gentleman whose name I sadly cannot remember) in the bar. Brilliant at their jobs, very friendly, make excellent cocktails and do their very best to make each persons experience in the bar a very positive one. Each of these three gentlemen are a credit to the hotel, and time spent talking to them whilst at the bar a highlight of each evening Claudia in the spa - and the lovely masseuse - who were always unfailingly professional and helpful on each trip to the gym and spa Asun in the pool bar. Always absolutely lovely, excellent at her job and very nice to talk to when failing with my very basic Spanish!
