Hotel Mato Grosso Pantanal, more than a hotel, I would say a simple pousada built all around a beautiful swimming pool but small and unadorned rooms with a barely adequate bathroom. The restaurant is a bit shabby with barely enough self-service and only one type of wine. Nice swimming pool. Private parking.

Today, July 23rd, I had a day trip with my husband at this hotel. More than a month ago, I called and asked if I would have to reserve day use and they told me no. This week I asked again via Wattazap and they said no, anyway last night I called and booked and said I wanted to do the 4pm boat trip. I arrived at the place around 12:30 pm as I had a tour scheduled in Piuval. When I arrived and said that it was day use, I realized how careless the attendants were when I spoke, and they already said that there were no more boat times. I said that I had scheduled the day before for 4pm. I was left aside by these two attendants until the third arrived, who I discovered was the manager. I repeated saying that I had booked and he took a while to find it and said he didn't have anything and only after a while did he let me know, but the boat was for 1pm. As it was late we went for lunch, I found the buffet to be very poor, I had day use at Rio Claro and Piuval and the number of options was fantastic. We took the boat trip and of course it wasn't anything fantastic, as in Rio Claro it was wonderful as I went at sunset. I noticed during the day that the employees treat day use people with disdain, with little regard. I felt very bad about the terrible cordiality of the employees, and I also realized that all the day use people were on the 1pm and 2pm tour, and that the others it was the foreigners. If they can't offer the time we want, then say right away that the time is closed for guests instead of saying that everything was booked. In the pool, they turned off the waterfall when there were day use children playing, the parents even left too. I wasn't the one who got this impression of prejudice from other people. I personally complained to the manager and he just listened to me and said nothing and said he was going to give me a paper but he hadn't found it. Another person waited a long time to order a drink until they gave up because they were ignored at the TB counter. The attendant noticed that she was angry and came to talk to her, I took the opportunity and said everything I already wrote here and a little more. If the hotel is not able to welcome tourists on the day, it is better not to offer it as it cannot do it with quality. Here on the website it says that the day use is 190.00 and they charged me 200.00. I spoke this information and I was ignored. I even printed it to document myself. Finally, I can say that Piuval and Rio Claro serve day use with respect and without discriminating against us, we went on a tour with the foreigners and only us, such excellent service. Lunch on day two is wonderful, tasty, has many options for both food and dessert and the price is comparable to yours. Rethink the service provided for day use, Brazilian TB's money has to be valued and not just euros, dollars, etc. Not even outside of Brazil have I felt the way I did today at your hotel.

The hotel is located on the banks of the Pixaim River and there we can see alligators, tuiuiú, herons, hawks and various birds. We were very well received by everyone at the hotel from the moment we arrived until the day we left. All meals are very good and plentiful. Thank you all for your love and attention.
