Stayed here at the bitacora from 26/08 to the 05/09 First look of the hotel when you walked through was lovely, clean, spacious. And smelt amazing check in took around 10 minutes. Omar - so friendly, brilliant with kids and always had a smile on his face. Helped with our luggage to our rooms and greeted us kindly on arrival. The room - we was gobsmacked to how small this was, for a family of 4 including a baby, there was no facility to wash out his bottles safely, no kettle provided for his milk which we then had to ask for one. fridge worked when it wanted too and not enough wardrobe space for the 4 of us. We lived out of a suitcase aswell as using the wardrobe. Our room was cleaned on a daily basis but not to standard we have experienced elsewhere in Tenerife. Bed sheets weren’t change daily which overall didn’t bother us but after the third day we then realised you are to leave the note left on the side on-top of your bed to indicate you want them changing. The floors were left on numerous occasions and with a crawling baby this was unsanitary for us. Beds were comfy but definitely need to provide more pillows. We were provided with our safe card, but it didn’t work. Went to reception to change the card. And again didn’t work. So just left it. The pool area is lovely and clean, it states on jet 2 that all pools are fresh water, this is not the case. The main pool is salt. Slide pool is also salt, The baby pool is fresh and is lovely, clean and spacious however found older kids in there with big floats which made it unsafe for the little ones. Be cautious of the slide measurements as it is 1.2 and they are strict to whom is allowed on. After reading previous reviews we initially thought we’d get away with a child just 2 marks under measurements but still wasn’t allowed on, not even with a parent. The life guards are rude and if you did not speak Spanish then I wouldn’t bother communicating with them. They just ignore you! The bed wars was just something else during the first week of our holiday. People queuing from 7am to secure a sunbed to which you had to stay on until past 9am or your belongings were removed. If you’re not present you issued with a paper slip with a warning on and if you have not returned and the last remains on your belongings they swipe them! You couldn’t secure your bed and go for breakfast. After the first couple of days we played it by hearsay and on the odd occasion not enough sunbeds were available so we left the hotel. As the school holidays came to end more became available and we was able to get one after 9am but no later then 10. No warnings were issued during the second week so I’m presuming they hand out the warnings slips at peak periods. Be very mindful on how slippery the floors are and they do become very hot especially on the outside of the main pool. The top 2 pools are adults only. This area had plenty of sunbeds to be used but no children aloud. Entertainment round the pool was brilliant, ninj
