Sheraton Pittsburgh Hotel at Station Square

Nice hotel on river at station square. Restaurant selections close by. Room clean and bed real comfortable. Lobby nice bar and restaurant right near lobby. Can walk about 20 mins to downtown, during day. Marriott property so + for me. No complaints. Nice showers 4 night stay was great

Not impressed. The air conditioner did not work in the first room or the second room they changed us to. Other people in our group had rooms with no air conditioning but were told it was working so there was nothing they could do. Refrigerator didn’t work. Rooms were not made up during our stay even though it was requested. Hallways were like a sauna. Overall the rooms were not very clean. We will definitely pass on this place the next time we are in Pittsburgh.

They would not refund due to my open heart surgery. Cannot travel. happy to supply medical letter. Cold fish. Avoid them like the plague. STINKS . granted they have a nonrefundable policy when booking the room, however, what about valid exceptions? Owned by Marriott corporation so they have a HAND in it. Be careful!

Really liked the location, great looking lobby and bar area with a nice river and city view. Room was clean and housekeeping did a nice job every day. Bed and pillows are comfortable, good size TV, small in room fridge and complimentary bottled water. Starbucks in the lobby was convenient. I wanted to give 5 stars but there were a few misses. Shower water pressure was pretty weak. There is a sign in the bathroom warning that missing towels would result in a room charge, ok but one day housekeeping forgot to replace our bath towels, had to confirm with the front desk that we wouldn’t incur a charge for the error. One night we were at the busy bar with a large wedding party when the bartender announced that everyone had to leave the bar area as they were closing, take your drinks elsewhere.. strange. There is an upstairs balcony with a beautiful view of the city so we took our drinks outside, after 5 minutes a hotel employee came out and asked how we got out there. Well, the door was open and we really like the view, she says it’s even better during the day when it’s not closed. Not sure how we are supposed to know it’s closed when the door is unlocked and no sign indicating hours, thought she was bit aggressive over the whole situation and left a bad taste.

The area is great! Parking has in and out permissions, but there's a lot to do within walking distance. There's even a really cool bar/restaurant off the lobby. We would definitely stay here again!

Older hotel, but well maintained. The hotel is very convenient. We enjoyed the river view room. The hotel is older but the rooms were updated and very clean. All of the rooms are quiet.
