噪聲特別大,早晨才發現,窗户外2米就是巨大的幾個空調室外機。不知道是不是專門的。洗臉池也是壞的,窗簾拉不上

The hotel environment is clean and tidy, the service staff is warm and polite, the transportation is convenient, and the surrounding facilities are complete. The room is quiet and comfortable, the facilities are complete, and the cost-effectiveness is high. It is a pleasant stay experience.

The only thing going for this hotel is the walking distance to PNC park. I tried calling the hotel before I even went there to ask a question, and had to call four times on 3 different days to get someone to answer the phone. The room itself was disgusting - curtains had stains all over them. The wood was broken and peeling off of most of the furniture. It looked like they hadn’t cleaned the bathroom at all either. Definitely not worth the price! The worst was that they charged me TWICE for the room (once to a card I hadn’t even given them and specifically told them at check in NOT to use). When I went down to the front desk, they said there was nothing they could do, and there was no manager until 3pm (but check out is at noon). They gave me a card for the manager, and it just rings busy every time I call it. Hoping the one charge falls off the correct card, but not confident at this point…

Great hotel. Very cool old building. Front desk staff was super helpful. Only one complaint was the valets. They were the worst. If the dining, cleaning and front desk staff didn't override them. I'd give the hotel one star. Which I find so confusing. They are the first thing you experience and they are smoking. They never get the door. I waited so long for them to park my car I parked it myself. Which saved me a ton of money. So I guess thank you for that. Big rooms. Need a little updates. Microwave would be nice and leaving $5 dollar bottles of water in the room seems a bit crazy. Maybe it's more like 4 1/2 stars. Nice hotel great if you're going to a ball game.

A recent stay produced a mixed experience. The hotel is in a great location, just across the river from PNC Park and within walking distance to plenty of restaurants and attractions. The historic building itself has charm, but it’s definitely showing signs of wear and could benefit from some updates. There was a very strong odor just outside the entrance, it smelled like the hotel may have a “skunk” problem and while it was only outside, it did not lend to a good first impression. The staff were friendly and the hotel was generally clean During our conference, the lunches served were delicious and well-executed, while the breakfasts were underwhelming in comparison. Appetizers served in the lobby were spectacular! Unfortunately, the air conditioning seemed to be struggling throughout the building. My room was uncomfortably warm, even with the thermostat set to 64° and the fan on high. The bed linens were soft, but the mattress was worn and uncomfortable. I was surprised to find the fitted sheet torn at one corner. If it has to be used, it could at least be placed so the tear isn’t immediately visible. The cabinet under the TV is where you’ll find the fridge, but the design makes it awkward to open and close due to hinge placement. There was peeling wallpaper in the bathroom near the tub. Overall, the Renaissance has potential. It’s in a prime location with a beautiful facade, but it’s in need of some attention to comfort and maintenance to match its branding and price point.

The hotel was in a great location. The rooms are SMALL. It didn’t meet the expectations I had for the price we paid I expected cleaner rooms with a little more space. We also were unable to experience the hotel fully on our trip because it closed off the lobby for a private event while we visited which was disappointing. If you don’t mind a small room and don’t have high expectations for housekeeping and such, then it’s not a bad choice. It’s walking distance to quite a bit.

Pros: -very convenient location to walk to PNC Park and Double Decker Bus Tour stop - Great restaurant and bar - Nice views from King river view rooms - comfortable bedding Cons: - room was not as expected. No dresser, towel bar, alarm clock - curtains were torn and wallpaper was peeling. - provided water was $5 per bottle - minimal beverage choices in hotel market - area was rather seedy with panhandlers. For $400 a night I expected high end with outstanding service, however we returned to our room at 4pm after a day touring the town to find our door had been left open. Thankfully we hadn't left anything valuable in the room. The dirty towels were removed and not replaced. We had to put them on the floor due to the lack of a towel bar, or would have reused them. The entire place appeared in need of a deep cleaning and TLC. It was a beautiful building but for the price I expected much more attention to detail.

7/2-7/5. Very uncomfortable stay. AC stopped working overnight on our first night and soon was over 80 degrees. Repair man declared it was fixed on 7/3 but at most it reduced room temp to high 70s. Very indifferent verging on rude staff. Have been coming to this hotel for years but will not be returning.
