Poor service and overpriced. I’ve been coming to The Mill for over 10 years, it’s beautiful. However, I went along last night (29th of July 25) there was a sign to stand and wait to be seated, waited around for near 10 mins until I had to get the attention of a staff member who told us to sit anywhere. I then went to the bar, a cider, a shandy and a AF, £19.80. The bar staff was just rude too, asked me what I wanted, but another customer was there before me, so I said, I think this guy is before me, he just ignored that and barked again, what do I want.

This was a beautiful hotel! The bed was super comfortable. The room was clean. It had a walk in shower, a major plus. The restaurant was awesome! The hotel and restaurant staff were super friendly and super helpful! We would stay here again!!

We had the steak and ale pie which my wife sent back as it had a hard object in the meat. She then chose the risotto that she did not enjoy as it had too much garlic and the mushrooms were not diced. I left most of mine and the vegetables were nuked. The beer was excellent.

We have stayed here before and love this place, staff are friendly and offer great customer service. Food and drink whilst not cheap is probably the norm for a tourist destination. It's a great place to meet people and we tend to come here when we can get a one night stay as we only live about an hour away. The only disappointment to our stay was the loud noise at 5.30am sounding like a delivery or bin pickup which may have been from a near business, this will not put us off from returning and look forward to returning soon.

When paying over £1000 for 4 nights B&B, we expected much more. Staff are very friendly and the evening entertainment on Friday and Saturday was excellent. However the "Buffet " breakfast is very poor. The full Scottish breakfast has no haggis, square sausage, potato scone, or beans. It is a poor effort on a full English and should be upgraded or just call it a fry up. You are made to feel greedy if you ask for more than 1 item off the menu and no offer to top up tea and coffee. Yoghurt is plain and warm, served in a soup bowl with 5 rasberries and 4 blueberries. We imagined a choice of flavours and a platter of fruit. Pancakes with syrup with no bacon, surely a dessert, not a breakfast. Why call it a Buffet when you can not even help yourself to the continental section or hot drinks. Reduced 3 stars for very high price, poor breakfast, and very cramped rooms with short beds. I am 5'ft 10" and my feet hung off the end. Oh, and no mini fridge.

Excellent stay at Old Mill. We've stayed before. Staff are friendly and efficient. Food in restaurant is very good. Various menus including gluten free and dairy free. Room was brilliant. Breakfast was also Reay good, freshly cooked. Very high standard of cleanliness and decor. Bar area inside and outside was good. Our weather was brilliant which certainly helped. Would highly recommend.

What a wonderful gem of a hotel hidden just off Pitlochry’s Main Street. What a great vibe in the bar with helpful and friendly staff. We enjoyed sitting in front of the log burning stove whilst having a drink. Both the Evening Meal and Breakfast were of a very night standard and our room was very clean with lovely decor and the bathroom was very modern! We will certainly be back very soon!

Lovely welcome from Katrina. This was our third stay at Old Mill Inn and we’ll definitely be back again. Beautiful comfortable room, lovely Highland Soap toiletries and a great GHD hairdryer. The hotel is very well managed with a great atmosphere and staff are super friendly and professional. Food is high standard, enjoyed freshly cooked breakfasts and delicious evening meals. Look forward to our next visit.
