We indulged in some local cuisine that was as delicious as it was diverse. From fresh seafood to hearty breakfasts, plus a great steak in Arroyo Grande, 5 min drive. The inn itself provides a wonderful atmosphere to unwind. The room was comfortable and well-maintained, offering all the amenities needed for a relaxing retreat. The staff was friendly and helpful when needed, going out of their way to ensure we had a pleasant stay. Overall, our weekend at the Spyglass Inn was a delightful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a rejuvenating getaway in a picturesque setting. Whether you're an avid hiker, a beach lover, or just in need of some peaceful downtime, Spyglass Inn is an ideal choice.

The food was not good. There were other guests smoking ********* both nights we stayed and the smoke lingered into our room. I was very disappointed that the hotel staff did not intervene and implement the no smoking policy they have posted all over the hotel. There were a lot of children staying at the hotel, it’s unfortunate that they had to be there with all of that smoke down halls across from the pool.

The room is large and the bedding is very comfortable, it is a good choice for vacation travel. The location of the hotel is unique, with a first-line sea view, especially at sunset, the scenery is very beautiful, and I feel very good in general.

We booked two pool/partial ocean view rooms and were very satisfied. We wished we had spent a little bit extra for a room with a full view but we still had a good time. Overall, very nice stay and would return, especially since they are fully renovating all the rooms! Ours still had carpet, I imagine the new rooms are going to be really nice. Cons Not their fault but the pelicans along the cliff while friendly and quiet unfortunately smell pretty bad making some of the property unappealing.

This place is amazing. Staff are very nice. The room was clean and had a great view of the ocean. Was less then a minute from downtown pismo, and the pier. The breakfast was good, plenty of it. It has a beach front as well. I definitely recommend this place.
