The hospitality of the guesthouse service crew amazed me! The boss sent me to and fro from the railway station. I had an early train ride to catch, the dedicated boss went the extra mile to pack breakfast for me. I was gifted with a goodie bag filled with their local delicacies. It was a pleasant surprise to receive a red packet inside the goodie bag. The location is ideal; intersection to the main touristy streets. I stayed in the tatami room, it was comfortable and I had a good sleep. I would recommend anyone heading to pingyao to choose this guesthouse!

Excellent stay in Pingyao at a wonderful hotel. Beautiful building perfectly located in the Ancient City -- close to the main streets, but much quieter. The staff were extremely helpful and provided pickup and drop off at the Pingyao Gucheng high-speed train station. The room was clean and modern, with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was great and had both Chinese and Western options. Definitely will return here for my next visit to Pingyao.
