Very good hotel. They just completed a full refurb. The zone of the entrance looks very modern. Breakfast is excellent just I think they should offer more variety to stand out. For me was a really nice stay and we would come back.

This is simply an excellent hotel. The service is beyond praise. The rooms are spacious, the sea view is gorgeous! The breakfasts and dinners are beyond praise! I will definitely come back again.

The worst experience of my life I will never go back and they have good customer service I couldn't relax

We have just returned from a week at the Hotel Promenade. We had a fantastic room on the fifth floor, a penthouse suite with a large terrace and a huge outdoor bath tub. I really loved the outside bathtub after dark, looking up at the stars and the moon and listening to the sound of the waves crashing on the beach. Sheer bliss! Worth the extra money for the room, especially as the pool area was in the shade for most of the day. We only sunbathed on our on terrace and it was so peaceful. The food in the hotel was very good and it offered good variety. The staff in the hotel were all very friendly and helpful, I don’t know all their names but Ana, the restaurant manager was extremely efficient and the restaurant staff including Oscar and Fatima were all nice. Everyone at reception was very friendly. Peggy, who organised our check in was very helpful. Unfortunately the hotel does not have a very good swimming pool, and as someone who loves swimming, I was a bit disappointed in this, but this was the only downside. However, we did use the indoor pool in the spa a couple of times. It costs 15 euros for two hours and it’s totally worth it. It is a really lovely spa, a real oasis of tranquility and was a perfect option for a couple of cloudy afternoons. The hotel is close to the beach and although the railway runs between the hotel and the beach there is an underpass right in front of the hotel that takes you right on to the beach and there is a really nice walkway the length of the beach. All in all a very enjoyable and great value holiday.

Just returned from a week at the aqua hotel promenade, staff work very hard especially in the restaurant and house keeping, we had a pool view although sadly pool was too cold to go in. There is a heated pool in spa area but only for over 16s. Location is great opposite the beach and near to the train station for day trips to other resorts and cities of girona and Barcelona. The town is small and easy to get around, if you have a electric car there are charge points right outside the hotel, in all a pleasant stay, my family will miss the breakfast which they really enjoyed.

I stayed at the Hotel Promenade and Spa with my daughter for a week. We enjoyed our stay. We arrived early so our room was not ready but there is a luggage room securely accessed by a swipe card where we could leave our luggage and change if we wanted to. Unfortunately it was raining so we did not bother changing. Check in is at 2pm but our room was ready around 1pm. The room had a pool view and was a decent size with twin beds, a desk. a chair, wardrobe and a big bathroom with a walk in shower. There is a free safe in the wardrobe. We stayed half board and the food was very nice and varied. Breakfast had both full English and assorted continental dishes. There was also a variety of juices including proper orange juice. There was even cava if you wanted a mimosa. The evening meals also had plenty of variety. The only downside is the pool. It is quite small and mainly in the shade for most of the day. The staff are helpful and we were informed we could have an early breakfast arranged as we were leaving before breakfast started at 8 am.

It was our 5th time in this hotel. We have been very loyal to them for all these years but this time we were disappointed with all the changes they had made. The rooms were renovated and now there is a glass door in the bathroom that doesn't close. If you are staying by yourself it is alright but if you're with your family/friends it is extremely uncomfortable. The quality of the food went down. We stayed for 10 days and during this time paella had uncooked rice 3 days in a row. Also potatoes were not cooked properly for these 3 days. One of the waiters in the restaurant was quite rude. We ordered a bottle of sparkling wine (which wasn't cheap). She brought it to us and left, without offering to open it. So we ended up opening it ourselves. The swimming pool area wasn't cleaned properly. Sometimes we would come there in the evening around 20:30-21:00 finding glasses/cups/rubbish/empty cans still sitting on tables since the morning. We used to like the children's mini disco that was after dinner but now they changed the time for 17:00 and do it in the basement, the room for kids activities looks so horrible and gloomy that nobody is ever there. The lady who was supposed to run it also didn't look enthusiastic at all. I don't think we will be coming back next year.

Excellent place to stay! Friendly and helpful staff, clean, great food and excellent location with the beach just across the road. Local transport links for trips to other towns/ cities are good with trains running every 30 minutes (including train to Barcelona). We will certainly be visiting again

Although the staff were excellent, our room was good with a modern bathroom and the food varied and plentiful, this hotel was something of a disappointment in that it advertises facilities like table tennis, petanque and darts, but none of these materialised! When we were there the spa was under construction (which we were informed about) and there was no kids club or nightly evening entertainment. Neither was there a lounge-type seating area and the bar seemed to be part of a separate restaurant. Since the pool was still very cold, we were a little bored some of the time. The location is fine, opposite the beach, albeit beside the railway line, and there are a variety of shops nearby. But it's an hour plus on the train (usually packed) into Barcelona or Girona, so not as convenient as we thought. Added to that the weather was not up to scratch and we were pick-pocketed at the local station, it was not the best getaway.

Stayed here as a couple for 4 nights. Rooms were great, lovely and clean. Breakfast was fantastic with cooked and cold options. There is a train line outside the hotel but far enough away you will never here them so don’t worry plus it’s handy if you want to explore other towns like Calella (great for shopping). Will defiantly stay here again….. thanks for they great stay and hope to see you in the future.

Just returned form a week in the Aqua promenade - can't understand the negative reviews on the food - great selection and well presented. Fatima in the restaurant is a gem. Slight downside is the pool only gets the sun after 1pm but there are plenty of places to walk or get the train to in the mornings, even the beach - means a variety to your day. Staff are excellent and reception very helpful for everything. Details are a little behind the times , like an actual key for your room instead of a card type and beds with blankets and sheets instead of duvets. None of this is an issue. Aircon was great , cooling the room and making it pleasant. Our room overlooked the pool and got the sun from early afternoon - nice to sit on the balcony and enjoy a cold beer. I had notified the hotel it was my birthday when we were there and they responded magnificently with a bottle of cava in celebration. We are a well travelled couple and fussy about where we go - Aqua promenade did not disappoint in any way - please ignore any negative comments you might see. Hope to return very soon.

This is really good hotel. First on plus : Fantastic location, nearly beach and train station. If you want go for example to Barcelona is simple way - train ( 60 km 78 minuts 😳😳)… On beach is not necessary use special shoes. Is only one Big problem - immpossible rent sunbeds on this beach 🫣🫣🫣So you must use towels ( Big plus for this hotel - price included beach towels ). Rooms - we take (tips ) suit duplex room with sea view ( 2 rooms with stairs ). Whery comfortable beds. Clean. First day when i seat on balcony and the train going and make a signal i thought i was a heartattack🙃. Really good breakfast. Minus - whery thin wall between rooms, So i Heard my neighbours ( they speak normal ). Second room on next floor dont have normal beds for sleeping ( we have sofa - terrible Solutions , noise when you sleep and not comfortable - i dont understand why there cant be this same beds like on first floor ???). Fridge is in the room ( but why on second floor ?? Hmm ). If you want use safe you must pay extra ( in 2023 ???- all good hotel give it for free ). Pineda de mar - you find a lots of cool place where you can eat , drink etc So - is really good hotel with fantastic location. In my opinion is 3,5/5. But 3 is not enought So i give 4….

Location is good, room standard average- as for 4* Hotel (old one, should be refurbished) Safe fee is ridiculous if You perceive yourself as 4* standard. More Vegan meal in the evening would be welcome (and it should be tagged accordingly to international standards vegan,vegetarian,meat based).

I would like to thank the staff in the restaurant & the bar staff who provided excellent service & the morning cleaners who got me up at 9am each morning 😂 I liked the fact also there was always space by the pool with sun loungers with east access to the bar for cool drinks, ice cream or coffee ☕️
