Website unhelpful in relating spa services. Reception even worse. There was no doctor because we arrived on a Friday, and didn’t book it in advance. We were only staying the weekend. Women at reception all seemed perturbed that we were there. Not sure if they simply don’t like Americans or whether they are just burned out. Spa reception was slightly more friendly but unhelpful in helping us decide which services to get so I opted for the mirror pool and mudbath. There was very little instruction as to what to expect or how to prepare. All women were naked, ushered into first the sulpher pool for fifteen minutes, which was pleasant enough, and then into the mud pool, which was treacherously slippery to descend into on the stairs. We were instructed to put the mud, all over our bodies, face and hair. The only way to do that was to lift it up with my feet, which I tried. I ultimately reached down to get some into my hands but , I had a contact lens on and the sulpheric acid in the mud lodged beneath it. I was given a small glass of water to flush it out with and then told me to put a damp cloth on it and lay down. The pain got worse so I went back to my room and flushed it in the brown water that poured from the plumbing in our bathroom due to recent rains. Emergency room a half hour away, 110 euros for taxi, burnt cornea diagnosis, antibiotic drops and cornea gel for a week, patch on eye yet no one at the hotel seemed to care or offered reimbursement for the mud bath

Very poor service And managers don’t care No safety measures in place In the ladies toilets I cut my finger on a sharp edge on a door which shouldn’t be there. I don’t know how it passed safety I asked to speak to manager and no one has come I told one of the staff members it’s really hurting and need to see nurse…. Nothing again Yesterday I went out for walk in the evening. Earlier in day I had informed guest relations k wanted water in room. When I got back no water. I went to reception and was told they are busy with large group check in. Then was told they have VIP guests arriving. The left me sitting 20 minutes in reception after having been out in the hot weather and having walked for one hour. This morning I went for breakfast and when asked for fresh fruit they don’t have. It’s a spa and they have no fresh fruit. I didn’t say anything. Then I asked for orange juice and was told no orange juice. No staff available to attend as too busy attending to their vip guests. It’s been over 20 mins and no manager has come to see me and no update on seeing a nurse either. Very very disappointed. I travel a lot and have been to many spa resorts but this place is shocking. Can’t wait to leave. Looking at flights to get out of here. Only been here 2 nights and had booked to stay 5 nights what a waste of money coming here.

I had a fantastic trip here in November that could’ve been a disaster but wasn’t due to the amazing manager (Branov) and all the employees. I came specifically for the wellness treatments, so was excited for a weeklong stay. Unfortunately when I met with the dr to prescribe a plan, a condition I have precluded me from any of the treatment I’d specifically come to receive. I’d written in advance to double check this was ok, and unfortunately received a reply that led me to believe I could. After graciously accepting their mistake, the team did everything they could to ensure my stay was still a good one. The property is beautiful, the surrounding area was great to explore ( esp if you like country walks or trail running). I also loved the outdoor pool and infrared sauna. It ended up being the fantastic relaxing trip I’d wanted, just worked out differently than I’d planned. HIGHLY RECOMMEND you double check any pre-existing conditions with the clinic (being as specific as possible)
