Hotels near Coconut Island, Phuket

My husband and I recently spent a wonderful long weekend at Naka Island and would definitely recommend this hotel. From the airport, the property is a quick drive and then five-minute boat trip, but yet we felt so far removed from the crowds and noise of many other parts of Phuket. We stayed in a garden pool villa which had almost 360-degree windows making you feel connected to the natural environment even while inside. The room had everything you could need, want, and then some. It was a beautiful, serene space that also did a lovely job of honoring its Thai roots. Outside was completely private, and we could sit by the pool either in the sun or in the shade on our covered, separate porch. Although we had our own plunge pool, we loved sitting by the main pool and enjoying the incredible views of the Andaman Sea. The food was great at all the restaurants, but we especially enjoyed our dinner at My Grill (kudos to Kit), and loved sunset at Z Bar which is an absolute must! The ladies who served us each night were fantastic! We also enjoyed kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, and biking. All equipment is provided complimentary by the hotel and was super easy to take out. The views are beautiful throughout the property, so staying in a garden villa was completely fine. But I must admit that we were able to see inside one of the ocean view villas when the gate was open for the cleaning staff, and the view was so stunning that I likely will pay the added cost to stay in one of those when we return. Some resort “ocean view” rooms are not worth the cost; I believe at Naka Island they definitely are. So … lovely room, yummy food, fun activities and stunning views … all these features definitely make Naka Island worth visiting. But what makes it so special and worth returning are the people. The warmth of the staff and what seemed to me a genuine desire to engage, befriend, and provide top-notch hospitality in every manner possible sets the hotel apart. Kudos to Kris for his role in creating this lovely environment and personally setting an example for his staff on how to make guests feel both comfortable and special. We look forward to returning to this little slice of heaven.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was thoroughly impressed. The food and drinks were outstanding, with breakfast offering a fantastic variety to accommodate different dietary restrictions. The amenities were top-notch, especially the pool area, which featured fresh, warm towels and comfortable loungers perfect for reading or napping. The views were stunning, and the play area for kids was a nice touch. The service was exceptional, with friendly and attentive staff ensuring a pleasant stay. Highly recommend this hotel for both its excellent facilities and outstanding service.

It’s was a nice holiday place There was a mix up in the room, it looked Luxurious different on the website And when we got the it was a cheap motel room The we heavily complained And refusing to accept the room because the website was so different They eventually gave the room we paid for because I had pictures on my phone They couldn’t argue So they gave us the proper room 😊 And we ended up enjoying our holiday

We chose this for its jacuzzi feature in the room & the convenience of its location. Walking distance to Patong Beach & Bangla Road. There’s a cafe across the street if you want to dine other than the hotel resto. We decided to try the massage service on 5th floor as it was raining that day and we didn’t want to go out. Unfortunately , they got the massage package wrong and we ended up not getting the one we looked forward to try. 😅 Felt really disappointed there because of the amount we paid for was not even the one we wanted. I suggest to get massages outside instead since they are all within walking distance! Overall, just decent experience.

It's just average. The price is not expensive and the cost performance is not particularly high. The location is awkward. It's far from everywhere. You must take a taxi or tuk-tuk to get to Patong Beach. It's about 15 to 20 minutes' walk to the night market. However, the boss is Chinese, and so is the receptionist. It's the only one among several hotels in Phuket where we can communicate without barriers, which is rare. The breakfast is edible and about the level of domestic express hotels. There is only one elevator, which is a little small. It's still okay if you go out alone, after all, you can speak Mandarin without barriers.

Nice fresh hotel. Unpretentious breakfasts. The rooms are clean, if you need to clean, put the sign by the door in the ”Cleaning” position. If you need at least some views towards the sea in Patong, then take rooms with sea/city views and from the 4th floor and above. On the 6th floor (roof) there is a small bar and a swimming pool, a gym in the area of ​​15 sq.m. It’s not clear who uses them at all. Only if during vacation over 14 days, and that’s not a fact. This is considered the 4th line, to the night market where there is a sea of ​​street food about 800m. Near the hotel there is a 7/11 store, a laundry, simple cafes, and exchange offices. We ate mainly at the market or closer to 2-3 lines. The hotel is not for families with children or the elderly. If you have pain in your legs, this is not for you either. I don’t understand people who deliberately choose this hotel and write reviews that it is on a mountain and is constantly going uphill. It’s difficult to please you in everyday life, too. Either physical education or you take a bike and everything is fine. Transparent toilet shower, it’s even cool 👍 there is a curtain. If you eat MJ together, what have you not seen from each other 😂 that could confuse you. There is air conditioning and it blows normally. The balcony is small, there is no separate dryer, there is simply nowhere to put it on the balcony, since the places are occupied by chairs and a table. If you didn’t like it, then most likely you don’t know how to choose a hotel for yourself and someone chose it for you without telling you the nuances.

We had a great stay here. We first got free upgrade to the family room. The staff were friendly and helpful. What I was really grateful about was that I left Phuket for Krabi in a hurry so I forgot my envelop with cash in it (28k Balt). I called the hotel hoping someone could have found and kept it for me. But to be honest I didn’t have high hope as 28k Balt is a lot of money to the locals. To my great surprise they found it in the safe, and my power bank. A special thanks to the manager, Nancy! Our family recently stayed at begonia N7 Villa, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome, providing excellent service throughout our stay. The villa itself was stunning—spacious, beautifully designed, and equipped with all the holiday required amenities you could ask for, including a private pool, kitchen, and especially washing machine, which is very rare in Phuket yet so convenient for hot Thai weather. The outdoor areas were equally impressive, with lush gardens, sun loungers, and breathtaking views. We especially loved the peace and privacy the villa offered, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The housekeeping team did a fantastic job maintaining the space, and the concierge service was always available to help with any requests or to arrange activities. The location was ideal—close enough to explore nearby attractions like Chalong temple, big Buddha Rawai seafood market and beautiful Ya Nui family snorkelling and sun set beach, yet tucked away in a quiet setting. Also highly recommended ask Demi book a car for the day, you see lots more places. (8 hours around $2800 Thai barlt). Whether you’re here for a romantic escape or a family vacation, begonia N7 Villa offers the perfect balance of luxury and comfort. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be returning!

Booked a family room and got room 201 with a king bed and a queen bed. The pool view room looks exactly like in the description, very large with a balcony. They just changed the shower set and the toilet so both are brand new. Very good bed quality and linen. We slept so well. Simple buffet is good enough to start the day. Front Desk staff are very welcoming and efficient. Fast check in and out. I think the man who came for a short conversation in the restaurant is the cook. Another man wearing short pants with no shirt who went into the kitchen and went out looks like manager. Good parking space. There’s a short walk from the main street to hotel Reception. When you cross their beautiful grass garden, you’ll see the stairs. Walk up a few steps and walk pass another garden, you’ll see the ocean. Water was high this morning so we didn’t go down. Not sure if water level will be lower in the afternoon or not. One of my photos shows the hotel viewed from the seaside.

Some of the rooms are newly built and some are old. The family room I booked was not too big and was very clean. It had a balcony and there was a swimming pool downstairs. Breakfast is okay. There are also wontons that you can order as you like, both Chinese and Western. Open until 10 o'clock. The water in the swimming pool is very clean and it is cleaned every day. The waiters are also very kind. The key point is that the boss is Chinese and very considerate. Our airport drop-off was in the afternoon. After learning about it, we were able to delay check-out until 2 o'clock for free. We also gave him drinks while waiting for the bus. I have already recommended it to my friends!
