Unfortunately the hotel was under renovation, so the swimming pool was closed. They did however allow us to use the pool at the nearby hotel, which was on the beach and very nice, with a free shuttle bus. Staff were lovely and tried their best to accommodate us.
There was a lot of construction work all over the Laguna site, so Monday-Saturday 8am-5pm you could hear drilling and hammering from all over.
The shuttle bus also takes you to the nearby boat avenue with shops, bars and restaurants and a really Good Friday night market. Shuttle finishes at 9pm though. Overall it has the potential to be a beautiful holiday, but I’d wait until construction is finished.

It used to be the Laguna Holiday Inn, but now it has been renamed HOMM SUITES. The swimming pool is undergoing overhaul, and the surrounding environment has undergone earth-shaking changes compared to 16 years ago. The originally relatively pristine forest beaches have been turned into construction sites. Laguna, a former paradise, has been reduced to a cultural and tourist community.

Definitely will come back again. Hotel staff are friendly and courteous. Go extra mile to make us comfortable with our stay. We booked the junior premium suite. The room size is big. Room is clean and acceptable with the amenities. Hotel is easily accessible with free shuttle bus that bring us around the laguna compound . Highly recommended !

A very comfortable and value for money stay, about 30mins from airport. Suitable for families. They hv paid bus to central mall and patong area, 100baht per pax. There is also complimentary shuttle bus within the lagoon. Right at entrance of lagoon, there are massage shops and eateries.

I stayed here for another two weeks. I have been to Laguna for 5 times in the past 2 years. The room is very big. Now I prefer apartments when I go out. They are large and have kitchens. It is next to the golf course and has beautiful views.
