The hotel gave me a room with a very poor location and privacy. The room is on the first floor and is right under the swimming pool next to the Italian restaurant of the hotel, which makes me dare not open half of the curtains in the room and can only cover them all the time. Outside the terrace of the room is a walkway for people to go to the beach, and people keep walking back and forth. Since it was already night when I arrived on the day of check-in, I couldn't see the surrounding environment of the room clearly. I was in a hurry to go out the next day, so I was too lazy to ask for a room change. I didn't originally book this room type. I don't know why the hotel arranged a room that was the worst experience since I visited Phuket many times. Most of the people staying in this hotel are white, especially Indians, and few are Chinese. The room facilities are old and broken, and the breakfast is rich but not delicious. In short, the price-performance ratio is poor. I saw bad comments about this hotel when I was reading the comments before. I thought that everyone's requirements and perceptions are different, so don't be preconceived. The main hotel has a good location, so I still booked this hotel. I didn't expect there would be more bad reviews, and there are reasons for it 😅

This is my second visit to Amari, enjoyed my stay at the Ocean facing unit. Service was excellent, the staff even allowed us to check out later (no charges) bcos my wife was unwell. Breakfast was superb 👍. I would definitely stay at Amari again.
