The hotel is within walking distance to Kata Beach. It takes a short walk. The location is OK. There is also a night market nearby, which is only a few minutes away by taxi. The room is quite big and the hygiene is OK, but there are a lot of ants. There are ants on the balcony, on the floor and on the table. You can only spray insecticide in the room and cannot light mosquito coils, which is quite distressing. The breakfast is barely OK. You can't ask for too much at this price.

I don't know where the bad reviews come from, people write that it's 30 minutes to the beach - that's probably if you crawl, we walked at a leisurely pace in 10 minutes. We stayed in this hotel for 5 days, a good hotel for the money, clean, they clean well, even very well, bed linen and towels were changed every day, water, accessories were regularly replenished. We had a room with access to the pool (this is very convenient). Breakfasts are good, we did not go hungry. A shuttle takes you to the beach every half hour, but you can walk 20-30 minutes.
