The Pe la Resort, Phuket

This is not the first time we have stayed at this hotel. Everything has always been fine. The location, the size of the room and the availability of a kitchen are fine. But this time after booking on tripcom, the hotel wrote a letter that it is necessary to pay extra for a child, although the child is indicated in the booking, and the description says that the room is designed for three. The extra charge was 800 baht per day!!!. Upon check-in, it turns out that this is an extra charge for bed linen for a child. Not for a bed, but for a sheet with a blanket! Are you serious??? They gave us the farthest room, in which the windows overlook a private house where roosters live and every morning they scream, as if in your room, because the audibility from the street is terrible!! All the cars, the roar of bikes, roosters - you hear it all, all night! The cleaning is simply disgusting. The floor is not washed, but wiped with a mop with some kind of spray, it turns out greasy, sticky. I wiped the floor with a napkin and it became black. I called the reception and asked to send a cleaning lady to wash the floor in the room and the balcony. But it didn't help much, everything needs to be washed there!! The towels were brought unwashed, with gray and black stains. The pillows are very hard and uncomfortable. The tiles in the pool are falling off, the jets for the hydromassage no longer work, everything is kind of neglected (a complete disappointment. We didn't take breakfast this time, there are only three types on the menu, after 2 weeks you get really tired of it. In general, you need to look for another one for the next trips, this one has gone badly wrong.

Amazing hotel, I don't understand why it has such an undeservedly low rating. Good repair, kitchen, coffee machine, capsules, robes, everything is clean, good breakfasts, choice from the menu. The staff girls are very nice, they helped with all the questions, they put together an early breakfast for the excursion, brought umbrellas during the rain, daily cleaning, a cool pool, sun loungers, our room had a terrace. There were 2 families and 1 child, everyone was absolutely delighted, if we come to Phuket, then only this hotel.

Nice structure, renovated a few years ago. Nice room with living room overlooking the outdoor pool. Quiet. Some flaws: clogged toilet, only 1 towel per person and quite worn. Pool towels only in the morning then nothing. Decent breakfast. From a structure like this I would have expected more services
