Very neat and clean. Next to the beach. Most importantly people are so friendly and helpful. 100% recommend. Kamala beach is for those who seek little less crowded beach, calm and tranquility. Had better time than Pa tong.

I have been visiting Thailand (Mostly Bangkok and Phuket) for over a decade and the stay at Kamala Dreams was one of the best especially because of the location/room, view we had from our room. After staying at our usual resort at Kata I wanted to have some change n glad I found this little family run hotel with a decent size pool, something which worked for us perfectly. Though I wish there was a safety box in the room, but guess they plan to have it in coming season.
The room is perfect for two with basic amenities, with a big balcony overlooking the sea. Breakfast is basic but with some combination between two it works out well. Lots of restaurants around for dinner after some drinks at the beach side small Burmese run shop/outlets.
Tommy & his father Jan (owners) were very friendly & helpful during our stay ;arranging things We requested for eg taxi for the airport which arrived on time or breakfast the day we left.

We booked two rooms for three people - I got the superior room while my parents stayed in the beach suite. Our rooms were cleaned everyday and any used towels were switched out for clean ones too. Overall, i was impressed by the level of cleanliness. However it is a humble hotel, and there were no elevators so we had to carry our luggages up and down the stairs. We opted to eat out as much as we could so i have nothing to comment on the breakfast. The beach suite had an electrical problem so my parents had to downgrade to a superior room. The manager said the short circuit was due to us switching on both the water heater and the air conditioner. I didnt argue much because i didnt want to ruin my parents holiday vibe, and fairly asked for a refund of the cost difference between the suite and the superior room (4000baht). I was upset by the fact that my parents couldnt wake up to the beach view as i had planned for them, but the manager said he would let us have the room for free the next time we come. Hope he remembers that promise though, haha.

Restaurant en hauteur avec une décoration originale, les repas sont bons (attention si vous prenez un repas à base de curry , c'est vraiment hot). Le prix est correct. Mais vous pouvez vite monter à plus de 350 Bath l'assiette. Repas enfant limité. N'oubliez pas de contrôler votre note.

What a lovely place to stay. Was greeted on arrival by Yan the owner, a really nice guy who made me feel at home straight away. Room was huge with a balcony with a great view of the beach. Was quite dissapointed with the food in general in the area, 2 places stood out the hotel restaurant and one other over the street. Breakfast had a great choice. I would definitely go back. Congratuations Yan and Tommy you have a wonderful place

Wow after Reno's the hotel is amazing. The pool is perfect now and the whole hotel is very welcoming. The staff are just so lovely and the food is delicious and not over priced. Being returning customers from Australia this is our goto hotel. Beds are comfy and room is more than adequate for our needs. The owner is very nice. Great wifi across the whole hotel. Quiet and super relaxing

We have just spent 8 days in the lovely Kamala Dreams Hotel hosted by Jan and Duan and their lovely family. We originally booked 5 days but just had to stay longer. Our room 209 was large and comfortable with a kitchenette couch large bed and bathroom with shower. Our balcony had 2 sun loungers 2 chairs and a table to look at the gorgeous view of both pool and beach. The food was the best Thai food we have ever tasted and when we went on a fishing trip and brought back lots of fish Duan and her chef cooked us the 2 most delicious fish dishes ever. Breakfast was served with a smile every morning and Tommy Jan’s son was always happy and so helpful. I can’t recommend this hotel enough, it’s just fab so a very big thank you to Jan and all is lovely family, we will definitely see you again x
