Ik was al vaak in de Crystal Beach en altijd heel tevreden. De staf is nog altijd supervriendelijk en de prijzen meer dan schappelijk. Het lijkt echter wel dat Covid19 hier hard heeft toegeslagen. De kamers ruiken muf en vochtig en verluchten brengt weinig soelaas. Verder is het uitzicht volledig veranderd. De pitoreske huisjes waar de masseuses met hun stoeltje voor de deur zaten zijn volledig verdwenen met het oog op de bouw van een nieuw superhotel. Heel het straatje is afgesloten met ijzeren hekken ; je herkent het niet meer. Ook de bar met zijn pool biljarts is verdwenen. Het gezellige straatje van welleer dat naar Patong Beach loopt heeft een totale metamorfose ondergaan ; nieuwe appartementen, parkings, maar geen lieve dames meer die je aanspreken met 'hallo massage sir'. I’ve been to phuket before, I chose this hotel for its price and location but ended up staying an extra week. Rooms were spacious and clean, the staff was very helpful, and the rooftop pool was a plus. Highly recommend this hotel. It’s within walking distance of the beach, restaurants and clubs.

The room was very nice and spacious but most importantly the staff were excellent l. I definitely recommend if you are staying in the Patong area . There are many amenities around so you aren’t stuck for places to eat. The beach is also very close by.
